Chinook Heaven at Odiham Families Day

RAF Odiham Families Day this year was a great event and very well planned, very much like any other airshow. They had a decent sized flying display, with a few flypasts from the RAF, and an interesting static park. After attending last year, I was very excited to be attending again this year! The hi...

Late RIAT 2017

Another RIAT post on the forum but here's my set from this year's show which I seriously enjoyed despite the weather. My set is from Friday, Saturday and Monday with Monday by far being my favourite day, mainly due to the weather and properly being able to test out the Sigma 150-600mm Sports capabil...

Salisbury Plain

Can someone help me with navigation around Salisbury Plain please? I would love a map of where everything is and where to park etc. I would love to go to Lindens Confines or Everleigh and know that you are not guaranteed any movements.

Cheers

RNAS Yeovilton Air Day 2016

Despite myself thinking this years line up was a little worse than last years, and the few downpours we had, I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The pace of the displays were great and no waiting around for something to be happening. The statics were awesome, especially the steps so we could get photos lo...

I got similar photos to your departure shots!
Take a look how similar the last two are compared to the last two of mine, oh and Red 10's departure!

Duxford American Airshow - Sunday

With this being my first ever Duxford airshow (on my birthday!!), I had no idea what to expect. I had no idea where to stand for the show, I had no idea how the new CAA regs would effect the show. As you all can see, with max 300mm, I only have taxi, take off and formation photos. It is very difficu...

Robin at Netley 22/05

I was lucky enough for this robin to approach me quite close today, so I had to take a quick snap of it. Never photographed any birds or edited any photos of them, so all you wildlife photographers out there, I would love a bit of C&C! https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7582/26573280443_8b5f8c8c9d_h...

Flying Scotsman

Heard this was down my ends today. Never photographed a train before so these aren't great photographs. I headed to St Mary Bourne Viaduct to get an older style photo, the weather was awful! I then headed back to my home town, which I saw people still stood at the bridge. Luckily it had stopped at t...

Andover & Yeovilton Sea King Farewell

I was lucky enough to see the Sea King farewell tour in two different places. One being Army HQ in Andover, in which I had to wake up at 6 and head to my dads work for. The other being Pyle Lane at RNAS Yeovilton, which ended up being very enjoyable. The Army HQ flypast was brilliant but too close t...
