Re: F-35 Ground Training Aids unveiled at Culdrose...

Can't understand why people find it so hard to see the benefits from using a replica airframe to simulate the real thing?! As said. There the same size in every aspect. Hight, width weight.. Then even look the same! And all for a fraction of the cost of the real thing!!! And just to add, the dummy d...

Fantastic show as others have allready said. So I'll just pop up a small selection for now. couple of notes , where the day could have turned out a little diffrent!? was the Wildcat ground looping towards the end of its back track down the runway. Luckily he got away with only a wing tip touching th...

Re: fLares v pyrotechnics

Culdrose is one of the few shows that allows flares in a display. The Dutch Apache did just this couple of years ago. Guessing the there allowed to is because it's parked over on the north of the airfield well away from the members of the public . Also guess Culdrose is geared up for armed aircraft ...

To add to that I'd suggest cleaning your sensor as there are the occasional dust spots. However it's otherwise a good set with the very least some record shots of the 'visitors' Being an "old school" spotter that I am. I was introduced to the world of photography with an old Zenith E!! ( ...

So they close the doors at Newquay because visitor numbers weren't what they thought they would be.. ?!? And moved back to coventry ,that's got more of a chance of pulling in the punter's? ? ( debatable! ) Then only open the doors on set days of the year?!! You can see what's coming next Can't you! !

If only the classic airforce team had put the same amount of drive in advertising behind Newquay, as they currently are doing with coventry.. thinks might have been a little diffrent! ! It all seems very odd how an organisation can just "drop" a venue so unceremoniously Without any real co...

Re: Classic Air Force, Newquay - how's it doing?

So classic air force have relocated back to Coventry, and things are looking good again. couple of questions then. If coventry is such a success, why was it felt to move from there in the first place? ? And any idea what the team at Coventry plan to do with the VC -10 and Bac 111 down in Newquay?? O...

I also would love to see a copy of the news letter. :-X
think from what I've been told today, the airframe situation at Newquay might not dwindle down as much as enthusiast at Coventry would like it to!
Seem you might not be getting all the airframes back!!
