Can't believe they didn't show me this when I was there. Genuinely feel let down.
Worse, try to sell you one? Rich westerners, marketing opportunity wasted.
I'd very much have been in the market

Re: Big jet TV YouTube channel

The wider issue when looking at the bigger picture is the trail of destruction Jerry leaves behind him to provide the service he does. It's that which I see as a massive detriment to the hobby and could possibly have a direct negative impact for everybody. His attitude is he will do as he wants wit...

If he does make a mistake he is the first to say so.
Is he though? From what I gather most criticism results in the person responsible being blocked or banned

There is a subtile irony that he's painted the Union Flag on to a European Airbus - that won't be lost on a lot of people. :joy:
This can't be overstated!

Re: The UK Airshow Review Podcast

Have to say this was a blast to do - really excited that we've got it out for everyone to listen to. Brilliant work by Ian to arrange it. We've got plenty of guests in the pipeline as well, some really familiar names and industry figures who will hopefully bring the pod some top insight into the air...

Re: Boris Force One?

Another thing as well, I suppose, I know that they’re due to be retired soon,l (if not already, making the point a bit moot), but aren’t the corporate-looking white BAE 146s of 32(TR) Sqn designed for the purpose of VIP flights? But maybe PMBJ is taking his children and needs extra capacity? A380 i...

The metal bits have that "been around a while" look that is critical to credibility of the model. Fair play on the decals too, big decals put me off schemes. Great job!
Yes, how did you achieve that look on the metal?

Re: Boris Force One?

Apparently this vanity project - which is what it is since it apparently comes at Johnson's dislike of grey - is costing us £900,000. That's pretty disgusting given the enormous economic catastrophe taking place around the world, in a week when the government had to be dragged kicking and screaming ...

Wouldn't it be more cost-effective to just lease a BA jet since it'll probably look basically the same?

It would be good, perhaps, to get a classic jet operator to join us on the pod for an episode and chat about what the classic jet scene looks like from the inside.
