Re: Interest in watching a rocket launch?
....all I can say is a resounding HELL YES?! That sounds seriously cool, I'd be all over something like that, especially with a prominent role for the UKSA and ESA in the Perseverance mission at the moment that would make a brilliant tie in for getting kids into space engineering. It'd be a bit of a...

Re: RIAT 2021 Participation and Discussion Thread
I really liked the VAT last year. It was something different and something rather than nothing and at least fun to sit down with a few beers. Seems like a weird thing to have any kind of objection to to be honest.

On the subject of the lack of communication, we briefly chat about just that in the latest podcast episode. Has to be said, literally any communication would be nice, no matter what it is.

Everyone's favourite Mackem Nigel Watson joins us again to talk about one of the most common parallel hobbies to the airshow world, model aeroplanes. Many av enthusiasts have set glue to plastic at one point or another, more so than ever over the last year of lockdown, and veteran modeller Nige shar...

I also saw something last night that suggested he was a massive racist who tried to block the first black astronauts, so add that to the list I guess.

He outright called Eric Brown a fraud and a liar and said that the UK contributed nothing to the war. Hard to find respect for him, to be honest.

They found it when dredging the canal bed, so the RAF have saved them a bit of time in that regard with the crater this will have left in the canal bed along with the ones made 75 years earlier. The Tallboy raid on the Lutzow was filmed from a Mosquito, and can be found on Youtube, and if you look ...
