Entered into red route Bar a bit of slow traffic and a short wait in a moving security queue it was grand getting at 7.45ish. No worse than previous years for me.
Been a cracking show so far.

Shuttleworth Collection still open and all aircraft are displayed indoors. You dont say if your local or visiting from further afield but I assume Duxford will be open as usual. For someone whos never been to RIAT before and interested in going next year - Would you say getting a ticket for one of the areas that have these grandstands a must or can you still mostly enjoy the show by standing/using your own camping chairs? Would be taking a camera to get some photos of the ...

I didn't see the point in buying them early.
Guess I'll have to hope u can pay on the day or find something else to do

Always use the viewing village when at RIAT
Spacious access to food loos etc without extreme queues etc. Will be there again this year

There's a French one (mistral warbirds). Yet to see it . Was listed at Air legends but couldn't make it

A10 tops it for me. Was expecting Raptor/Lightning and P51 heritage flight.
Never had the pleasure of an A10 demo.

I would be interested to know how much revenue the shows generate and where they hope to cover the shortfall from. I also thought the museum and shows were a good combo.
