Looks like 90-95% chance of heavy rain for most of the day according to MetO. However Netweather/Metcheck give showers until late afternoon ..... worth a punt I reckon

Re: Dunsfold Wings & Wheels 2018

Just looked at buying 2 tickets, online charging model. £1.50 per ticket booking fee and a further £6.50 transaction fee!! That, in real money, is a rip off! Basically an extra £9.50 on the face value. Therefore 2 advance tickets is a mere £2.50 cheaper than rocking up at the gate. Perhaps phoning f...

Re: CWJs Bruntingthorpe 26th August 2018

I take a ladder and stand at the back of the crowd line and it’s never a problem doing it that way Thank you, I have one of those small platform things, probably about 2 rungs high (like this - m) I'm 6ft anyway but I guess keeping behind those that are standing only (without ladders) as not to p!5...

Re: CWJs Bruntingthorpe 26th August 2018

Is it a bit of a bun fight for photography? Was just thinking the same thing. Been looking at some videos and it looks quite busy along the line. Was wondering what size lens also because you look quite close to the action I've not been before and really 50/50 vs. Dunsfold However if I went to Brun...

I won't post a long list:
USMC AV-8B Harrier II
Italian Navy AV-8B Harrier II
or
Spanish Navy AV-8B Harrier II

If multiple, then even better and someone let Art Nalls bring the SHAR as well!

Was very nice to see, presumably an RN "bagger" from Culdrose, however only caught the back of it and didn't see the radar "bag"?

Sea King - Amersham, Bucks

Just had a Sea King low between Amersham and Lt Chalfont, heading NE. Quite an unusual sight around here!!!

Not on RDR, any info would be welcome.

I'm suffering!! Lobster doesn't cover it. It is my own fault I know, I'm allergic to the normal sunscreen so had purchased some of the more natural ones but doh, left it at home :-(

Agreed ..... brilliant Hurri 3 Ship and liked the rotary/fixed wing display as well. Of course the Edwardians were the icing on the cake.

Yet again another great day at Old Warden which is fast becoming my favourite venue :-D

Re: Lynx Farewell Tour

Is there a viewing area at RAF Odiham or an area that gives a good vantage point for photography? I guess they are landing there for refueling perhaps?
