Saturday saw the Vampire evening photoshoot at Coventry, in which a small group came to photograph Vampire WZ507 joined by other aircraft as the sun set and the moon rose. WM167 hasn’t flown since 2015, although does remain in very good condition, I’m sure it’ll be kept that way once it leaves Coventry also.

Meteor NF.11 WM167 will also be part of the photoshoot, alongside the two Vampires.

Weather looking good, plan is for '507 to fly on the afternoon of the 20th.

The group looking after WZ507 are running the event, including lighting etc.

More aircraft are to be confirmed soon, and at least 507 will run, serviceability permitting.
