Left getting tickets too late, they've sold out.
By any chance, if someone can't make it, I'm after a pair of tickets.
Thanks in advance.

Re: RIAT 2023 Discuss everything thread
Looks like an increased level of security, with EVERY bag being searched, me thinks they have got a tip off about a potential protest/disruption at the event. The oil protestors I reckon. The e-mail suggest taking less stuff. This is difficult with two camera setups, and a decent packed lunch! But ...

Re: Battle of Britain Airshow 2020 - 18th-20th September.
Absolutely gutted.
I was hopeful, especially as it drew closer and closer.
But with the recent Government guideline revisions, I am not surprised at this.

Re: IWM Flying Festival
My refund has now appeared on my card. I’m not sure what to do now, as I’ve changed our accommodation for the September show, and paid a bit more for it :-s I did this as I’d originally requested transferring tickets to the BoB show. Thinking about it, I really can’t see any show happening this year.

Re: IWM Flying Festival
Hi all. I had clarification from IWM. They are issuing a refund for the Festival of Flight, I think they haven’t the skills or tech in place to transfer to another event. The FAQ on the website is going to be changed. They suggest purchasing tickets for the September show separately. I’m in two mind...

Re: IWM Flying Festival
Hi all.
I followed the previously supplied link to transfer my tickets to the September Airshow.
However, I've just had an e-mail from IWM stating a refund will be given. Has anyone had a similar message, or confirmation of transfered tickets?
Cheers.

Re: RIAT 2020 Wishlist
Sorry, got more chance of having the Death Star do a fly-by than seeing any Russian stuff appear :-S
Would be great to see a Tonka flying, and the presence of a A-10 and B-1.
As long as the weather is fine, I'm not fussed about what shows up really.

Re: RIAT 2019 - Issues
Thought I’d add my thoughts on issues or shall we say things that can be improved... Traders Every year the list of aviation related traders slowly disappear. This year it’s was filled with some better traders but the big loss of Squadron Prints will hurt us more than we know. A stalwart at many ai...

Great shots mate
Judging by the P-47 pic, I must have been behind you!
Opening the flight-line at the end of the day is a great idea, it might help with traffic. It took me 45 minutes to get out of the car park.

Many thanks, as always, to my old pal Remit31 for the pre-Meet publicity. Top man! I will be there with Booster Club merchandise direct from the 67th Special Operations Squadron. I will also be selling Booster Club merchandise on behalf of the 56th Rescue Squadron. I have limited numbers of the fol...

Just watched the final episode, not bothered with the first two.
Couldn’t understand why the test pilot chap kept making obvious mistakes. Though of course the presenters wouldn’t have known :-s
Enjoyed it anyway.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Reviewed
I liked this review a lot, it echoed many of my thought. Whilst Tom Gibbons may point out some inaccuracies, it would be nice of him to point them out to us lesser mortals. Regardless of that, DBH needs to take stock of these comments (and those from their own survey) and make positive actions for n...

Chill folks. I have no issue with the word usage, it’s restrained and civil. Whilst it is annoying that someone is selling this at a profit now, it’s their choice at the end of the day. And if people want to pay a lot, then let them. I’ve seen other patches, such as the RIAT Spanish Harrier one, on ...

Re: Canon 7D Mk 2 - Top LCD Scratches - Removal Advice
You could try polishing it out, the plastic is quite thick and not very hard so it could take a bit of polishing. Perhaps something mildly abrasive like toothpaste would take it back enough to get rid of fine scratches. OMG. Many thanks for that, it removed about 90% of the scratches. I’m very happ...

Canon 7D Mk 2 - Top LCD Scratches - Removal Advice
Hi all. For RIAT, I took along my brand new camera. Prior to this I installed the appropriate Larmor LCD protectors. Whilst the big protector stayed in place, the top one had a bit of movement, I suspect this is because the top smaller display is slightly curved. I’ve just removed and reseated the t...
