and the Sea Fury"Joker " routine. Stands out as being one of the best routines this year for me.
Andy were you at Duxford on the Saturday? Just wondered as you seem well informed on the Berlin Express canopy matter.

A different perspective from a 24-year Legends veteran, if anyone's interested in debating the show further!
Another view of the show is welcome, not sure about a tear in the eye though, but 10/10 for presentation.

Re: Dictionary of aviation enthusiast slang considered "chav
But the royal family isn't spelt with an i, it's spelt with an o, and is thus a different sound. Acronyms form words - as mentioned above - and therefore you pronounce the word, not the component letters' sounds. Maybe the teachers amongst us would like to give a Year 5 English lesson..? Oh okay li...

Much of the stuff you see does grind my gears. "Pinky" does so particularly, because it's a replacement of "Granby" particularly because a) it sounds rude, b) it saves the sum total of bugger-all in the way of syllables (arguments are that the "Op" isn't included, I su...

Anyway I'd like to point out to others it's "Jello" not Jelly. Only if you're an American, in the UK it's jelly, jello is a brand name. Do you call a jellyfish a jellofish by any chance? No wait don't answer that...... Be rude not too! No but I've heard jet created heat haze referred to a...

 The was despair at yet another utter nonsense post of yours. Which, again, sailed right past you. I doubt someone so lofty would'nt be able to put it together. Re: Flying Legends 2017
Interesting review. The 2017 edition of Flying Legends would bear witness to the epic journey of Berlin Express from Texas under its own steam - a journey, perhaps, that we would later find out had taken its toll. I have to take issue with that statement, I'm afraid, as there is absolutely nothing ...

Depends on which seat, if seated towards the back or the middle of the plane the view is partly obscured by the wing.

Taking pictures from a Rapide, with all the biplane rigging in the way for most seats, is not ideal for air to air. Get a skyvan in and perhaps.

Thanks for the report Andy, you are hard to please. Fortunately having selected to go on the Saturday months ago and being blessed with excellent weather made for a great day out, but very much pot luck, we all know that before we book. However remember that the reason that on the day tickets are no...

Expensive, yes. You are not wrong. However... There appears to be hints at flying, that's not going to be cheap, plus the sunrise and sunset shoots will be out of hours at Duxford (sunrises are cool at Duxford, backlighting is perfect, early evening the light is also terrific), potentially meaning ...

Its too many for close access to a potentially limited number of aircraft. The view that it's a redundant question is part of the debate surely.

It staggers me that there is an expectation that all these very expensive machines should be provided for minimum or no cost. No-one's expecting the machines to be provided for no cost. Flip it another way then. If this is all HAC's cost why not lower the price (or at the very least be a bit more s...

Many have travelled to the US and further on similar trips what's the story. Business class to NY £1500 For a three day weekend to Duxford, hotel not included, it's pretty pricey. Quick google tells me the price is about £1,146.91. Take the Ian Allen tour to MAKS currently underway - £1,219.00 - 4 ...
