Re: The Scottish International Airshow (Ayr seafront) 2017
Having seen his display today, the organisers should book Rich Goodwin's Muscle Biplane!! He's bonkers!

Oh, out of interest does anyone know why the Hurricane was put forward?
And I forgot to mention the cheers along the seafront when the sun shone after that heavy shower!

Re: Eastbourne Airshow 2017
I was at the seafront today and enjoyed myself. Highlights were Rich Goodwin, Belgian F-16, Hurricane, Buchon & both solo Spitfires. Felt sorry for the MIG and Wingwalkers (even though I use them as my toilet break) since both scrubbed their displays half way through due to the unexpected rain! ...

Can't seem to find any mention of that on the shows FB page or website?
Flightline UK has them down as attending, they are normally realiable aren't they?

Re: Eastbourne Airshow 2017
Had a chat with ARCo yesterday and they have confirmed that the Buchon will keep the desert camo and smoke system and she will be using the smoke at Eastbourne, and eluded to her being shot down wherever she goes, when I mentioned a dogfight, suggesting she will indeed be in a dogfight reenactment ...

Re: The Scottish International Airshow (Ayr seafront) 2017
Loganair announced as a major sponsor, the tartan tailed SAAB 340 is announced as joining the flight display. Weirdly, that I actually want to see. Strangely so do I I'm the same as well! I'm still undecided about attending the show this year, didn't go last year (glad I didn't though). I'll wait f...

Re: Eastbourne
I think marfo means Herne Bay as the same message is on that page. Anyone know what will come along from Shoreham this year?,presume the Sea Vixen will come from Yeovilton unless it is at Biggin or Brize as it is doing Herne Bay as well. John in Seaford Flightline UK says 'lighter displays' will go...

Re: Prestwick/Ayr airshow.
If they can display a Fouga Magister then more power to them! I would rather see a Fouga than the same line-up as last year; the Chippies and others were a little too sedate for my tastes. I'm not complaining if they do come however; it is all aircraft! Don't forget Alanko the Irish Historic Flight...

Re: Prestwick/Ayr airshow.
That recent update was a bit anti-climatic. Yes, we get the Lanc but I was hoping for something different.
Still, I hope they get a flypast (or two) by a B-52 or preferably a B1!

Re: Prestwick/Ayr airshow.
Nice! Lets hope they spell it correctly when it is announced! (It is Nanchang not Nanchung!)
Also, some more aircraft are due to be announced at lunchtime today according to the Facebook and twitter pages. Teasers on the facebook page show it could be the Nanchangs and possibly a Beech 18.
