Re: Hyakuri help please

Re: Pic 'n' Mix 1985-1988 Early Days

I was one of the Engineers on the T-33, it was owned by Aces High.
This looks like Biggin Hill the year we displayed and one of the main gear got stuck after one the doors went up before the gear so it was stuck out.
Brilliant aircraft to work on and to fly in as well.

Re: Miles Student

Yes I worked on that aircraft whilst with Aces High, the accident happened when there was an engine failure on take off and instead of the pilot putting it down in the field next door he decided to turn it back to land on the airfield at Duxford and as a result the pilot did make a bit of a mess of ...

Hi Darren,

When ever I take shots of aircraft with either propellers or rotors I normally put my settings to TV and shoot no higher than 360.

Nice to see the Tiger Moth (DF130) this use to be owned by a Mr. George French back in the 70's, he use to fly it out of Barleylands near Billericay Essex, the civil registration was G-BACK, use to watch him fly this moth when I was a teenager, nice to see it still survives.

Saw on Facebook last night that Just Jane is now in primer and there is talk that she might be painted white and will have French Marine markings, believe this was the colours she was in before her retirement.

I was at Manston Airport yesterday 12/10/16 when 1 x Chinook 4 x Apaches and 1 x Merlin all took off in formation, I believe they landed there on a fuel stop but does anyone know where they had come from and what was the reason for then all to be together.
