Very interesting legal and moral situation here:

But is it any different than drug testing of employees as part of a contract of work?

I agree the object is going right to left on the images if the bottom one is the first shot taken.

Can't account for the vertical element though. Would be interesting to see other people's pictures from the day.

Just started watching 'Alien Worlds' on Netflix.

It's like a nature documentary but for space.

Yet more garbage from SAGE this morning. They’re saying we should be mindful of the type of music we play at home over Christmas, avoiding anything that could encourage people to dance together or cause other forms of close physical contact. Popular music is discouraged and instead they are advisin...

SAGE only stands up at a time when they are needed, the members have other full time jobs being very clever people, they don't work for the Government but are called together to advise the Government of the day during national emergencies. SAGE has advised the government on a number of events, inclu...

Whilst I'm no scientist or economist, it seems the AstraZeneca one is far more efficient price wise, capability for easy storage, and far more ethical. A few months ago I was chatting to a lad who works for AstraZeneca and he was stating that there had been so many cyber attacks on their systems ove...

Aside from the uncertainty, those working in the private sector mostly don’t have access to a final salary pension either. Hardly any public sector workers have this option any more. I've been working in the public sector for the past decade and final salary pensions were not available to new start...

Talking with a friend today he used to work in Labs to do with virus studies - he told me the covid virus has Not been captured and can not be tested in a Lab as it needs a living host to survive and does not survive in a petri dish inviroment. So how are the Labs testing the virus structure when n...

Hoping you, & you're colleagues
are never exposed to Covid 19.

That goes for all front line workers as much now as it did back at the start of the year.

Stay Safe.🙂
Thanks, potential exposure is just one of the many perks of the job. :)

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Although it's a positive thing that vaccines are being trialled, I'm wondering about the logic behind it in that we're all back under some form of lockdown, designed to prevent the spread of infection - so, although you're trialling a vaccine, you may not ever be exposed to Covid 19. If you're not ...

I don't think vaccine trials work like that, they are very regulated things like all pharmaceuticals. The plan is to give half the participants a vaccine and half a placebo then wait until n peeps have been infected and work out if they had the real vaccine or not. The government(s) is / are as muc...

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic about not being able to give the taxi driver Covid if you have it. Unless you have a robot taxi driver or one who is full enclosed in a CBRN safe drivers seat then the chances are the same as scrounging a lift with a mate. Just it would be legal for the taxi dr...

I’m amazed that an entire pandemic in England is charted in Excel, I’m amazed that they think a mid-00’s excuse of “a technology glitch” will wash, and I’m amazed that heads aren’t already rolling. As someone who has spent over a decade working in the public sector, and having to put up with numero...

Houlton’s own account clearly states that he taxied ML407 into a desk that had been dragged out onto the airfield before the dawn first sortie of D-Day, and damaged the propeller.
One would have to wonder who and why would a desk be dragged onto an active airfield prior to the day of days.
