I really enjoyed looking at these.
Can't understand some of the negativity brought into this...............honestly! I'd be more than pleased to end up with a set like this no matter how edited. As regards how old they are, does it really matter?

OMG!!!! Great catch of a rare beast!
I spent two weeks working in Luanda back in 2007 and watched several of the air force Yak's not to mention Antonov 26's and Il-76's trundle past whilst I waited to board my flight back to Addis. I didn't have the nerve to attempt any photography !!
Regards
Rich

Bit like an eye test in my opinion, the one where you have to guess the number hidden away.

Re: Lancasters over the Dam
That second picture is just so totally brilliant! So much historical meaning to that part of the tour, I'm sure the crews must have felt humbled by the experience ! Due to personal circumstances, I've not been able to get around the airshow scene this year, and had given up any chance of seeing &quo...

Re: Typhoon over Manchester Airport
They had plenty of time to react. If an F-15 can get there minutes after impact after travelling a considerable distance, then an "escort" of some description could have got on the planes wing. Would it have brought it down? Doubt it. You put a fighter of any description up alongside a hij...

Re: Typhoon over Manchester Airport
As to what can a Typhoon on station do? think about it, if there had been armed fighters around does anyone think the 9/11 terrorists would have made it to the twin towers, those passenger jets would have been blown out of the sky. Really? There were plenty of armed fighters around on 9/11 (Atlanti...

Re: RIAT 2014 - Participation Thread
Why such fascination with the number of aircraft attending, and in attendance from previous years??? I just don't get it at all. It's not possible to compare one year with another, or one decade with another. There are simply too many external circumstances impacting on firstly the willingness and s...

Great set Peter!!
Don't remember seeing such a collection of splendid Tiger schemes for many a few years? What a pity it's unlikely that hardly any will make it to a UK show this summer.
