Did anyone else notice the spitfire they showed with invasion stripes?...
I didn't think they were used till the Normandy landings?

Ex brietling wing walkers
Just saw the pair that used to be the wing walkers flying over Wrexham,
Any idea where they’re off to?

Another aircraft that would be better suited in the static display perhaps?
After years of regularly having Ansons display, i'll happily take the Rapide - and I'd also argue she's a more graceful looking aircraft!

I've lost track of how many Cosford threads you've made the same points and people have taken time out of their collective days to explain. I'm not sure there's any point anyone doing it again.
can I +1 this?
it's become as predictable as "meh" on the RIAT thread...

Stunning aircraft, it'll be great to see her at Cosford again.

I honestly could be wrong, but when I spotted it, I thought it was wearing dutch markings. Google has not helped me find it I think you might be looking for the wrong aircraft type? There are at least half a dozen Cubs in the UK wearing Dutch markings so it could be one of those? Personally, I'd pu...

Dutch Auster, North Wales?
Hi all, I was out and about saturday, and driving home past the Rhug Estate near Corwen, North Wales. Across the road from it I spotted what appeared to be an Auster, next to a small grass strip, and I could've sworn it had Dutch roundels. Has anyone got any more information on this? I've searched g...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
does anyone know why they don't appear to be using the 'traffic light system' this year?
It's still stated on the updates page that they're using green for confirmed, amber for discussions etc... but there's no amber visible, and unless it's just me, there hasn't been all year.
Just seems strange...

jet pair over wrexham?
Anyone shed any light on this?
My other half told me she just spotted a pair of jets (her words) moving over wrexham, she saw them yesterday too.
I'm guessing they're heading the loop, but can't spot anything on fr24 or adsb.
anyone?

That would be nice to see. I don't think I have ever seen a Shakelton, even if its just the cockpit section. Not sure where you're based mate, but there's a complete one at Coventry airport (taxiworthy), and a static one at the Manchester museum of science and Industry. If youre going to Cosford, a...

I have to ask, with APREs apparently wanting to set themselves up as a self styled 'central bank' for restorations; Have they actually spoken to any restoration groups? -canvassed their feelings on this?
