RIAT Flying Saturday

Undoubtedly the stars of the show were the F-22 and F-35 as well as the BAE demonstration Typhoon which kicked of the days proceedings. Grey sky's kept buffering in and out and when there's grey sky's and grey aircraft it dont go well about 99% of the time ::). https://c8.staticflickr.com/9/8759/281...

The F22 does its demo, which is the star of the show. Then the F35 displays later.

Cosford Airshow Flying

Apart from some cancellations a good flying display. Weather made photography a bit hard but thats one of the downsides when planning the airshow you cant book the weather. Was great to see a Herc fly. First time for a long time I had seen one fly. https://c6.staticflickr.com/8/7391/27722114701_2d6d...

After travelling up Saturday morning we popped in to the museum for a bimble and a bite to eat and sat back later in the day to watch some of the rehearsals. a long post but C+C welcome. https://c8.staticflickr.com/8/7275/27797145815_582c5174b2.jpg https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7416/27797145595_5f03...

Well Firstly whether we had negative reviews or not we must congratulate the team for the effort they have put in and their time. Thank you to Peter and Staff Yes acts got cancelled and like most of you I was gutted about the Sea Vixen, Gnats and B52 but as some have said we cant book the weather. ...

The BBC forecast is different to what the Met Office is reporting so fingers crossed. I sometimes use the met office when teaching my geography classes as they seem to be more accurate. But as i said fingers crossed.

Just a couple from a cold but enjoyable visit as always. A bit of flying today with a few Grob Tutors popping in and two Mustangs out and about today. Re: Airstrikes in Syria - UKAR's Thoughts?

So the MP's rejected the first amendment. I think we no what is going to happen now or will there be a twist? I think people now see where some aspects from all sides of the government are coming from as this must gel up to one solid puzzle to put it.

Just listening to the debate on the BBC News channel now. They seem very split in the Labour house hold. The shadow secretary put out a very good case and even though he is labour is backing the case for bombing. For those who want to watch Hilary Benn's speech the link is below and scroll down to 2...

Its indeed a shame as i only saw them twice at RIAT and Sunderland and they gave great displays at both.
