UPDATED - USAF 73rd Birthday Bash @ RAF Mildenhall

A small flypast was put on at RAF Mildenhall on Friday 18th September in relation to the 73rd Birthday of the USAF and 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Photos were taken from The Nook spotting area. Quite a few people were there, enjoyed the banter :-) https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/5...

Re: Battle of Britain Airshow 2020 - 18th-20th September.

I went on the ticket website this morning and bought a ticket for the Friday (I'm a premium member of Duxford). A bit annoyed they are now charging for Friday's rehearsals as part of the overall airshow weekend, always enjoyed going in on my FoD membership basically for free. It says the slot time ...

Re: What are UKARians watching on TV?

My wife and I have been watching 'Cobra Kai' on Netflix. Based on the Karate Kid movies with the main protagonists now older and facing the consequences of their actions from the first two films. Very good with decent 80s nostalgia and music thrown in :-)

Summer Wildlife Spotting

Managed to get some wildlife photography whilst out and about over the last few weeks of Summer. Pics taken up in Northumberland, Minsmere, and a little closer to home at Fowlmere. All pics taken with my Canon 90D and Sigma 60-600mm :- https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50124690413_c4608ca5f2_h.jpg...

Re: What are UKARians watching on TV?

Currently into the 2nd season of 'The Patriot' which is on Amazon Prime. One of the most refreshing series on tv. Superb writing, extremely funny (although dark humour) and very well acted and produced. I am absolutely hooked on it but does take a bit of following as it does swap back and forth with...

Just concluded Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix, very enjoyable. Also, have just started watching the Toast of London, not sure why I didn't see it first time round, very funny. Matt Berry is brilliant :-)

I find that I am getting a lot of requests for use of my images through Flickr, so will definitely keep renewing it. Mainly use it to host pics to put to other forums, but am also now on Instagram which is a very nice place to be (so far).

Airwolfhound at Shuttleworth Drive-In Airshow Number 2

Having read some decent reviews about the first drive-in airshow, I decided to book tickets for the 2nd one. Very glad that I did. It was a great airshow, and very well organised considering the very difficult limitations in place. Amy and I arrived around 9.20am and were in one of the holding field...
