I haven’t seen this posted anywhere, apologies if it has been and I’ve missed it.
Is this true, is this really the end?

Re: Big jet TV YouTube channel
I just want to add something on this. BJTV is polarising and not to everyone's taste - fair enough. However there does seem to be this hate campaign against him, with that facebook group and some of the comments on here. Alot of what's been said is unfounded rubbish, and unsubstantiated rumours star...

Re: IMPORTANT - Future of UKAR
I too would miss UKAR. My opinion is the site should re-focus on what it’s best at, airshow reviews and discussion. To this end, it could probably lose about half of the different forums to concentrate the discussion, and increase activity. Photography stuff could continue through an affiliated Face...

- And for those of you crying about them not having a contingency plan, at the end of the day you don’t know what happens behind the scenes and it may not have been possible to go ahead any other way. I hate to think what Tom and any other organisers or people associated with the RAF think of us wh...

Re: RIAT 2018: Thoughts & feedback!
I went all three days. I was pretty narked on Friday evening after the cancellation of the RAF 100 fly past. I know it couldn’t be helped but I felt gutted as that was really the headliner for me this year. However, I got over that quickly and upon reflection had a really great 3 days. Positives: - ...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
Probably a silly question. Does anyone know if the Sky Guardian is flying out and if so is it tomorrow?
I’m kinda assuming it may go to FIA, and if so by road given it’s proximity to congested airspace....

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
Fair play to The Great War display team this weekend. I think they adapted their display well for Fairford which was always going to be difficult for them it being such a large venue. Nice to see something different and well executed. Special kudos for the pyro team who dealt with the resultant gras...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
Would have to agree, today was much better and my highlight would be the trenchard plus display. Was just so beautiful and elegant.
As a FRIAT member I liked that they’d moved it all around today a bit, giving the SU-27 an earlier slot for example. Keeps it dynamic.
All in all a very good day.

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
Also a bit early... and one day out of four done. I was disappointed today. Cancellations and weather cannot be helped at the end of the day but RIAT sets high standards, and for me the flying display had nothing new that really heightened my enthusiasm. The F35 and Flanker were highlights though. H...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
Sorry for ranting as i was just going frustrated. I know its not as simple as it sounds but a lot of people , me included, can only make one day and chose it because of the flypast. On a personal note it helped drive me to battle Anxiety to come today. So I'm still glad i did but its just left me d...

What a disgrace cancelling the flypast. What happens when it rains in Syria. Do the jets stop flying ?? Lets hope the Russians dont attack us if its raining They knew the forecast. Surely couldve bought it forward even just an hour. Lot of angry people in this big tent right now. Wow really? Firstl...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion
I’d agree with Chris here. Whether it’s a good airshow or not is purely down to an individuals opinion and perception, and thankfully in this world we’re all different else it would be a boring place! My view is one of disappointment. The last few years have been excellent and in my expectation have...

Re: Whelford End - spotting from pavement being blocked for
What happens if you have a mental dissabilty illness and cant cope with a full day and all the crowds bunched together in the show, also you may not be able to plan things well in advance (may not have transport plans or friends/family) but camping and seeing the flying in a less crowded situation ...

Re: No AAC Apache display for 2018
Isn’t there a defence review in progress following on from that leaked document last week which is an existential threat to the AAC? If so, they aren’t going to want to show off any spare capacity for a dedicated display team... Or am I being to cynical? Sad as one of the highlights for me of RIAT h...

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?
Not being funny but to me the discussion on here seems to go round in circles more about whether the thread should exist / how it should be moderated than the actual Vulcan! Personally, think it’s an important thread to break through the propaganda of VTTS, and allow uncensored views to be expressed...

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?
So is XH558 is now the least active Vulcan behind XM655 and XL426. Both the later don’t have a large organisation behind them and operate on a shoe string budget. What a sham VTTS have become, they did so much to fly 558 but are now failing so spectacularly it’s incredibly sad to watch. Right now I ...

I think we are going into fiction land again guys Stop making up your own versions of the truth. Are you talking about VTTS or the forum contributors? Because it’s the former I’d be more worried about. Developer in the wings waiting to build the hanger once planning permission is granted: that’s fi...

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?
The problem is XM657, is that it's pretty much ALL been discussed before, and these threads just go round and round debating the same old stuff and having the same old accusations and heresay bandied about. At the end of the day nothing will be done, and no-one here will change anything. It makes m...

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?
Right now we are seeing what people have been saying for years, VTTS has been operated as a gravy train for the benefit of a few people. The wishes of the majority have always been a distant second. I never thought it was this fishy until today! VTTS has always been hand to mouth financially, now i...

Again as posted on the VTTS forum, the grey 'circles' on that 'patch of ground' ( as you call it ) are bore-holes which were drilled to test the condition of the concrete below the tarmac surface. And despite your claims of 'stumbling on' things, any & all pipework will already be on any plans ...

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?
Some questions were asked by a long-time VTTS Club member on the VTTS forum, which ( not unexpectedly ) haven't been responded to by anyone from VTST. As the questions are no doubt ones which people on this forum would also be interested in seeing answered, I'll post them on here.....but like the p...
