Re: RW382 in US markings

I think the scheme diversity is great! However as nice as it is I was a bit surprised that BHH chose a Grey Nurse scheme for one of their twintubs - from a UK punter POV what would you rather choose - that scheme or an RAF one? I suspect most would want the green/brown and RAF roundels...

I guess that's what happens when you get rid of a lot of your staff, including the media guy.
Hear hear, was sad to learn that a very knowledgeable and nice chap who put his heart and soul into the place was given his marching orders.

Re: A-W Meteor NF.14 WS788 Restoration Project

Super stuff Graham- this thread is becoming a national institution like the Shipping Forecast or Car Boot sales or Pork Pies (or summit) I think people would have withdrawal symptoms if it isnโ€™t posted on a Sunday night. You need to think about having a voice over done, someone like the late Peter S...

Re: Bruntingthorpe Closure?

Re: Bruntingthorpe Closure?

For all the 'Walton bashing' elsewhere online which is pretty shameful, my understanding is DW is paying - from his own pocket - to clear the pan behind the Q Shed with a view to laying extra concrete to give a hardstanding for many resident aircraft - some of which he owns, some of which he doesnt....
