Re: Canadian Tempest

The Air Leasing machine is pretty far advanced - I'd put my bet on it being first and also being the star of Flying Legends 2021 along with PT's Ruskispit

Re: Flying Legends 2021 - 10th & 11th July at Sywell (Merged)

Access to Hinton is up a single track road through a farm and the site is smaller than Sywell🙂 The Aerodrome HAS held many events in recent years and 6 airshows from 2004-2014 with a Max of around 8/9k attending. The Aerodrome staff are well versed in events. The FL team have been running Legends fo...

Well we look forward to welcoming you to Sywell especially people who’ve never visited before- it’s very exciting for us all. Though we at Sywell Aviation Museum are the complete opposite in size to IWM we hope you’ll pop by!

Re: Aviation Ghost Stories

Does anyone remember the story about the Wellington crew that ditched in the North Sea and a ‘WW1’ aeroplane flew over their Aerodrome at night and dropped a note with their position and they were rescued? I’m sure it was in one of the Ghost Stations books?

Fair play fella

It’s just we don’t want the Yorkshire Jet Juggler to be spread too thinly that he overdoes it!

I’ve told you before you Northerners just need a Buckle Cloning Machine!

Re: Mosquito FBVI TE910 in New Zealand

This is absolutely terrifix - there must have been some 'heart in the mouth' moments prior to the separation of the wing and fuselage as IIRC this is a weak point. Mind you the perfect team to do it!

Well done to all concerned

Re: RW382 in US markings

I think the scheme diversity is great! However as nice as it is I was a bit surprised that BHH chose a Grey Nurse scheme for one of their twintubs - from a UK punter POV what would you rather choose - that scheme or an RAF one? I suspect most would want the green/brown and RAF roundels...

Again terrific stuff matey! - in the hard to reach areas once you've hoovered out are you going to ping some etch and paint down or some waxoyl?
