Re: RIAT Arrivals... LIVE! 2017
Driving down the A420 near oxford at about 1 thinking how unfortunate it was I can't make it to RIAT this year when what pops out from behind the trees right in front of me? Just the IL-76 and both flanker in a banked topside turn at about 500ft

SOG doesn't fly on weekends ...
A CV-22 has been up every afternoon this week so far, so it seems like you should see them if you went on a weekday at the moment.

Shuttleworth Evening Air Display 06/07/2013
Spent a very enjoyable evening at Shuttleworth yesterday for their evening air display. The weather was perfect and the flying superb. Didn't intend to take many photos but I couldn't resist with a few items. Just a few to start with, might put a few more on later. Sea Hurricane taking off at start ...

I believe these two are new builds (SLightly worrying considering how many attempts they had to get over the pond!). Given they are SOG birds I think the markings they are in now will be all they wear.

These are two great shots, personally I think shots like these are much better when photographing display teams than close-ups.

Foxfour - I hope the seats are more comfortable than on the Boeing 777. As much as I like the aircraft, the seats are not great for 12/13 hour flight in economy! In a few weeks I have a Brisbane > Singapore > Dubai > Manchester flight in a 777 Economy seat Thankfully there's a free bar on the fligh...

Stab in the dark here but:
If it is not coming from the east end, it would come from the west end (famous for musicals).
Is there a west end musical that can be linked into the other music clues?

Off to the Great Barrier Reef in July and really want to get some photos anywhere near the quality of yours! Can you give a bit more info about this 'Aqua bag' you used?

Wow, Those pictures are brilliant! The amount of hours put in to get these shots must have been huge. Do you work professionally as a wildlife photographer? I love the Great White shots the second especially is a brilliant composition.

Lancaster wins for me this time. Why one of wheels is rolling and another is not? It is a good question. I really don't know. Has she just touched on the port mainwheel & you've caught her on the bounce? I don't know when the photo was taken but if on take-off i would have thought that the brak...

Lots of doom mongering on here at the moment! In terms of car parking i believe the majority is on concrete (Red and Green) and the Blue car park had the heavy duty plastic strips laid down throughout the whole car park. Would have though this would prevent the field from getting churned up as apart...

Re: Turkish F-4 'vanishes' near Syria
What are the chances of turkey bombing the syrian military in retalitation ? Not likely. If indeed it proves that the Turkish aircraft was in Syrian airspace i would reduce the likelihood to none. Without Russia and China getting "offside" with Syria (resulting in a UN resolution) i would...

Another few images for you, thought i would add a couple different species in here as well as another of a couple of Wandering albatross squabbling over food. The other two images are of a yellow-eyed penguin and a sooty petrel. The photo of the penguin was taken at a Nature center on the Otago peni...

Great shot, but being picky it'd benefit from the horizon levelling Yes, didn't particularly notice it due to the swells, thanks for pointing it out. For those who wanted more here is another. Not the best picture but think it gives a better sense of the sheer size of the Wandering Albatross. This ...

Regards the last shot, think it works better as is than it would do cropped in on the bird merely because of the positioning of the birds wings. Personally i think that a cropped in photo of the bird when you can't see its head would look a little odd, but that is my personal opinion. Agree with Cra...

Great photos of the show. I was debating attending this but it didn't quite fit into my schedule and ended up out on a dive boat at the Poor Knight's instead. We had pretty terrible weather that day so i'm glad it was better further south. Did the NH-90 do a demo in the end as originally it was list...
