Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

And all just a week after re-opening the shops, that all had to have clear signage on the 2m separation etc. How much have they just made companies waste on preparing all that stuff for 7 days worth of use? If they’ve put markers every 2m and it goes to 1m don’t they just need to add lines between ...

Well just been to the tip to get rid of a load of cardboard, some old chairs and the like - you know, the things you rack up whilst not able to leave the house for a few months! Council has an odd/even number plate system in place; which they weren't following. Council says bring proof of address; n...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Hopefully many people will now understand the need to put something away for “a rainy day”. I'd love to put something away for a rainy day. I'd also like to be able to drive to work and save up for a house deposit. Sadly I have to choose one of those three things, and I'd imagine many others are in...

Can someone rename, or better yet delete, this thread? It's got bugger all to do with COVID-19 and it's effect on us as individuals now and has just become a very, very tiresome political slanging match between a few members.

Not sure about Donna Nook but aircraft were being told it was active and to avoid it today.

Hot desking was bloody horrible before COVID-19, it's something I'd be happy to see never make a return.

Other people's stuff all over the place, crumbs in the keyboard, yucky mouse, etc. Blergh.

Can't you just use the unread posts list? search.php?search_id=unreadposts

I do find it odd that the forum is now missing the standard posts lists (new, unread, active, my posts, etc) that have come with phpBB themes for ages.

What is going on with some NHS staff are some of them being Furloughed due to having no work to do, there does seem to be less casses in hospital than first predicted and they did bring in more nurses and doctors to help. I don't think that ever, will some NHS staff have nothing to do. Even assumin...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

I can't comment on whether the government made the right choices at the right time, I can only compare to countries like Poland, New Zealand, Greece and Japan. All of whom have much, much lower infection rates than we do and all introduced much stricter measures, much sooner. One of the big question...
