Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria
I did that as well. No idea why they want the payees address if its their account. I guess in some cases they could be based in a third country with all the sanctions issues etc. to check. The bank address is used to find the swift or BIC (branch identifier code, the equivalent of a UK sort code) Y...

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2024
Alrite guys, I put my name on the waiting list for any returns (just incase) and I've got lucky and got a ticket. How long did your bank transfers take to go through?? Difficult to tell as the money leaves your account straight away and I dont think you get notification when its received. Biggest d...

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria
I had no problems using the IBAN alone. Perhaps try a specialist service such as Wise. Thank you for your help with this. I did try Wise but I had to go through another rigmorole of photographing my portrait picture and my passport docs to prove who I am but I am not facing that again. I could not ...

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria
The mad thing is I managed to get mine absolutely no problem, just filled in the form and bam, I was registered. but the rest in my group weren't, so I'm a bit lumbered now! Do you make payment once you have uploaded your docs etc. or do you get invoiced separatly as we did for NTM? Does anyone kno...

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria
On the Thursday, Police were blocking off Flatschacher Strasse from corner of the field (near Gartenweg). The crops were very high, which made approach shots difficult. They were more tolerant of people out in the field, but were still moving anyone on who went beyond the crop line. I watched from ...

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2024
On mine (HSBC) it said do you want to cover fees and it defaulted to yes which I left. I paid £34.71 for each day.

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria
If it helps for context, my video of spotting from that field is below. We parked in the field behind along with others, some parked along the road (the cars there are parked along Kattigarweg). Note that this was on Tuesday before the show, I think access was a bit more difficult for the remainder...

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria
What’s it like from outside photography wise for arrivals and departures? I've never stayed for the departures but the situation for arrivals is not great (but not terrible either). Spotters were gradually pushed away from the fence during the past editions of Airpower. Last time, we were allowed t...

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria
Anyone actually managed to submit the form and get a ‘we have received your application’ or anything along the lines. Every time I’d try to send the form it was saying the photos weren’t correct when they clearly were. Absolute car crash of a website Kept getting request time out of a load of HTML ...

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria
Where is the crowd (or crowded from what I've read) line usually for this show. Is it south of the runway where the infrastructure is giving a sun behind the crowd experiance? Sun behind you the whole day, with a mountain in front. It's why it's one of Europe's best airshow locations. Awesome. That...

Re: Belgian Air Force Days 2023 - Kleine-Brogel Airbase
We arrived at 8am yesterday after getting lost (follow the directions not memory) and we were in for 9:15. No issues will water (I had two bottles on the outside of my bag and was just asked to confirm it was water). The comms kept changing even as last as Thur night so I assume the message didn't g...

Re: Belgian Air Force Days 2023 - Kleine-Brogel Airbase
Also the warning of a 20 minute walk to the airshow from car park B was quite an exaggeration- only half that, so not a disaster if you need to return to the car (assuming you are allowed of course....) Depends how far you go down the crowd line. We were past half way so prob about 20 mins. Felt lo...

Re: Belgian Air Force Days 2023 - Kleine-Brogel Airbase
Do the "Airshow Insiders" get a schedule emailed to them each morning or am I confusing it with another airshow (WOH) that uses the "Insiders" line?

Re: Villaroche Air Legend 2023
Check the French version, then, it works much better for Sunday: https://airlegend.fr/programme-des-vols/ . Maybe the Sunday, with its better program, is for French citizens only. Something you Brexiters should have thought about before ... :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Great idea. Thanks. Practis...

Detailed flying schedule is also available for both days: https://airlegend.fr/en/flight-programme/ . I noted the following differences between Saturday and Sunday: Saturday only: - ALAT Calliope helicopter - PAF Sunday only: - Vampire DH 100 MK 6 - Rafale Requin Mike - Corsair F4U-5NL & Corsai...

Re: Villaroche Air Legend 2023
Such a shame it is same weekend as KB Or a bonus so you can do both. "Only" 4 hours between. Yeah I'm doing both Air Legend and KB, should be able to catch PDF both days and weather looks very nice (for now). We're doing the same but BAFD first so I think we miss the PDF in that case.

Re: The Victory Show 2nd to 3rd September 2023
Does anyone know the flying display times. From memory this used to be around 2-5pm with some limited flying over the land battle just before.
