Re: Is anybody happy with the Brexit white paper?

Not exactly up to date, the Poll was in 2017. Obviously this particular "remainer" had to go back two years to try to make a point. And "brexiters"are nuts? And leavers have to go back a year further, to a crooked referendum in 2016 to make their point that the “will of the peop...

Re: Is anybody happy with the Brexit white paper?

So, you admit Farage is “your side”? The man is a racist, a spiv, a charlatan and a liar. And if you can’t see the difference between angry old men shouting threats in the face of a female MP and a card-carrying pound shop fascist left looking stupid by a milky drink, then you really are the archety...

Re: Is anybody happy with the Brexit white paper?

Farage had a milkshake thrown over him today, no doubt DOH will be on here condemning the thrower. A racist made to look an utter tit by a harmless milkshake? To think one well-aimed banana Yazoo has caused Farage more embarrassment and discomfort than 20 years of soft-soap interviews on TV and rad...

I’m amazed anyone wishes to further countenance him Because he plays to a certain demographic. You only have to look at the "crowds" at his rallies this week. White-haired, red-faced, not-short-of-a-few-bob. The baby boomers who've done very nicely indeed out of EU membership, but read th...

Just started on Chernobyl.

Very good, very harrowing. Would have preferred it done in the Russian/Ukrainian language with subtitles - a little of the impact is lost with everyone speaking with British accents.

Thanks CJS, to try to put it another way, I don't have the option of applying for an Irish passport and will still be travelling to Europe on business. Re: Is anybody happy with the Brexit white paper?

Ramping up emotion and having a binary outlook has characterized the debate on both sides (clearly seen more recently in the Commons) plus the inability to see the argument from other sides. I also have to travel to the EU for work. On the basis that a ban on business travel was never on the cards,...

Quite amusing to see that there are those who want to continue to be controlled by the Brussel's bigots, simpletons and fascists, that is truly “terrifying”. How has the terrifying "control" that "Brussel's" (sic) has over you negatively affected your life in the last decade or ...

Interesting how the same voices on UKAR who are pro-Brexit are also pro-Trump, the closest thing to an actual Nazi leader the west has had since 1945.

Almost as if, I don’t know, Brexit and Trump appeal to the same, low-browed, racist demographic.
