Re: The Spirit Of Concorde Watch
This lot is top of the tat charts, knocking the Ukrainian Air Force's RIAT jumble sale off number one spot. It reminds me of those RAF trainers from a few years back I wonder what did happen to those trainers. Probably thousands of pairs buried in concrete underground somewhere, along with Terry Je...

So much to enjoy in that Lancaster clock. The scale. The nosewheel. The hangar posters.
I see the black dog is included, which no doubt will satisfy their target audience.

Looking at photos of the crash site, there doesn’t seem much of it left. Either a hell of an impact, or a hell of a fire.

£95 is eye-watering.
Personally, I’d recommend getting Sally B membership for £40, then going in the daytime to get the Dakotas for free.
High time these extortionate nightshoots were brought to heel.

No different to what's happened on other forums over the years when people post lurid allegations, libellous comments or outright lies, then. Admittedly I didn’t see what was said on there over the weekend, but before that there was nothing overly troublesome. The Miss Demeanour Facebook page is fa...

If he has lawyers going around threatening internet forums, that would be extraordinarily poorly-judged PR and in ghastly taste, given the overriding feeling about the verdict that was returned. Re: Shoreham Airshow crash trial
Key have pulled their thread, apparently due to Hill’s lawyers sniffing around some of the more ribald comments there. Stick to what came out in court if you want to discuss this within the right boundaries. And remember that whatever you think, a jury found him innocent of the charges levelled. Apo...

Re: Shoreham Airshow crash trial
It was neither the outcome I expected, nor wanted. But at least the evidence presented has seen Hill shown up for what he is - a cavalier display pilot who played fast and loose with safety, having a near miss at Southport and continuing to display at Shoreham even, by his own admission, when feelin...

Re: No more weekend public show!
Bottom line is that people soon twigged that it really wasn't £50's worth of an airshow for a £50 ticket - and they made their feelings known. Last year's show got a lot of negative publicity in the local papers, if I recall. RIAT is expensive, but you can certainly see that your money's been spent ...

Re: No more weekend public show!
Good riddance to bad rubbish. Recent shows have been an affront to the heritage of Farnborough, existing only to rip off the public who didn't know any better by charging premium prices for seaside acts and third-rate filler. The writing was on the wall when the Red Arrows stopped displaying there. ...

When did it change? I flew to Paris from Bristol with them in about 2004 and got a full lunch the way out, whatever drinks and breakfast on the flight home. I get that's a while ago, hence the question. It’s just M&S sandwiches now, at motorway service station prices. Embarrassing for a nationa...

Re: Ryanair Britain's Most Hated Airline? Channel 5 9pm
I've also found Ryanair fine on the few occasions I have used them. Without doubt the worst airline I fly with is BA. BA short-haul is abysmal. A budget airline, with better uniforms and double the cost. Not so much as a glass of water without paying for it is just pitiful from a flag carrier. I bo...
