I’d gladly take a Su-22 from Poland - or anywhere for that matter.
Actually any Easter bloc /Soviet era hardware is fine by me.

I too suffer from dyslexia. I just use a spell checker. Problem solved.

Whether I am on my laptop or on my phone. It takes just a few seconds longer and it means my posts are easy to read for everyone.

I appreciate what you’re saying but I see it from the other point of view too..

Re: The Angry Thread...

Disregard the Cycling UK bit- because that is subjective.

Dig out your copy of the highway code.

It’s as clear as day what the highway code instructs

Re: The Angry Thread...

Mr Farnborough,

I note that you picked up on the Cycling UK bit..

The highway code states you should give a bicycle the same amount of space that you would overtaking a car.
That is the black and white of it.

Re: The Angry Thread...

Rule 163 of the Highway Code. When passing cyclists, drivers should give "as much room as you would when overtaking a car". Cycling UK suggest for the code to include guidance on a minimum distance to give when overtaking, suggesting a minimum of 2m when you are travelling at over 30mph. S...

Indeed, saw R.E.M. twice post Berrys departure and Rieflin was a very decent replacement. A great shame.

Re: RAF Cosford Airshow 2020 - 14th June 2020

Everything I have seen from the official channels today has said the desire is there to put on a September show, providing it’s viable.

Take a look at their Twitter feed for exact wording

Failing that, those who have 2020 tickets will have super super super earlybird tickets for 2021

Re: Israeli Deployment to Waddington - Sept 2019 - Info Thre

Pardon my ignorance about the nuts and bolts of this excercise.

Can anyone enlighten me on where the low flying is likely to be.
Cape Wrath?, North England? I suppose Wales is still unlikely.

Any thoughts please?

Indeed,
Whilst we are at it we had better ban School Teachers from striking. That forces other people to take time off. How selfish of them.

Nurses too- we can't let them strike...

Put yourself in their shoes maybe...

My wish would be

That I wish people could respect other peoples wishes

:tumbleweed:

I’d love to see something big of Russian origin - Just because it would be a bit exotic.

I’d settle for having something WW2 era in the static too mind.

RAFAT & B-2?

Well, considering the reds are off to North America after RIAT there’s more than a decent chance of that happening I’d say.

Grid penalties

Ham qualifies 2nd
Magnussen q5

Mag gets a 5place drop
Ham gets a 3place drop

Mag starts 10th (a 5 place drop)
Ham starts 4th (a 2 place drop)

On what planet does that even begin to make sense?

Great to see the Airbus A400 in the flying display.
I saw it at Farnborough 2016 and was suitably awestruck by it’s manoeuvrability in the hands of Airbus’ in-house test pilots.

When was the Airbus demo last seen at Fairford?

Re: F1 2019

The most telling angle on this matter for me is that (aside from Nico Rosberg and Jo Palmer) every ex-driver with an opinion on the matter has said it was a very harsh penalty. That’s the likes of Mansell, Mario Andretti, Brundle and Button. They all criticise the decision to name but four. The opin...
