Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024
One fantastic addition doesn’t compensate for the shambles of last year but fair play for them getting them in the show

Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024
Well unless they pull out a really out there international participant (such as the German Orion a few years ago) I honestly can’t see that happening what international participation will be in the display. Compared to some other shows lined up in June there’s just nothing that really grabs my atten...

Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024
Don’t get me wrong I love warbirds so the line up has a lot I do enjoy but considering when things like the polish mig and German Orion came the tickets were half the price they are now I expect something that’ll make me say I need to go now. But considering even the static is nowhere near what it u...

Any particular reason for the yellow cone on the spitfire? Not criticising them or anything just curious?

Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024
Quite amusing on their Facebook page they’ve responded to a comment saying the best way to sell tickets is to withhold information on international aircraft coming to the show. It’s actually quite depressing how bad the show is run now much like farnborough

A good few days despite the weather just felt a bit disjointed both days with the gaps leading up to the reds

Re: Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow 2023 - 16th & 17th September
Land warfare hall parking is available but you can only park on the field as you drive in unless you have disabled parking and the tank bank I’m guessing mostly depends on if they’ve sorted the badger issue which I suspect they can’t do a lot about

Looking forward to seeing some griffon spots hopefully together again after the recent update. A solid update but still maybe missing a unique item to celebrate the 50th

Re: Duxford dates 2023
I’ve already booked onto the Battle of Britain air show so seeing the recent updates on that and seeing the line up is containing all the evening display line up I’ll give it a skip for just seeing the aircraft in slightly different conditions

Re: Duxford dates 2023
If that is the whole lineup that’s a missed opportunity. The aircraft in it are all excellent but it’s just not worth a 160 mile round trip for a couple of hours. Especially with gransden offering a day the following day for less

Most of the time I’m posting frustrations about events I attend but have to say I didn’t take my camera and thoroughly enjoyed this evening as the first time attending the proms

Re: Flying Legends 2023 - 15-16 July - Leeds East/Church Fenton
The aircraft and displays were excellent the display lines so much better than duxford it was just the ground attractions that lacked. I think the show will return but it can’t be on Riat week that was a horrendous decision I know they said the weekend before was booked for something else but with t...

Re: Flying Legends 2023 - 15-16 July - Leeds East/Church Fenton
Hopefully the flying makes up a good day. Have to say parking on the far side of the airfield was an error on my part and so far there’s no real atmosphere or feeling that it’s legends. But I’m sure the flying will be excellent

I’m sorry but using the pedestrian entrance at yellow to have to walk all the way up to the marquee to then not even have to open my bag to walk all the way back to where I came from is utterly stupid
