Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024
Judging by comments made by The Cosford Airshow page on Facebook. We could get a foreign participant update today. I won’t hold my breathe though they’ve been very cryptic and vague with their comments towards those who have asked questions. Unfortunately don’t think it’s a foreign participant toda...

Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024
Looks like they announcing the reds today Boring. Wait a week for them to announce a guaranteed act we see every year. Can't believe how much their stringing their announcement of raf assets with tone of their replies to international participation it makes me wonder they have nothing in the pipeli...

Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024
If they're hinting that its fast jet related then I hope its at least an international jet.
Typhoon is basically a guarantee every year so just isn't that big of an announcement.

Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024
Don’t know if I’m clutching at straws but the Cosford Instagram seems to be hinting at an F16 appearance for 2024. That’s based on the post and a comment I saw

Re: Blackpool Airshow 2023
Typhoon was great on the Sunday. The pilot this year definitely knows how to show it off properly. A lot of burner. Hope he stays as the pilot for next year

Re: Cosford 2023 thoughts and views?
Just got back from an enjoyable day. I missed out on tickets so made do with viewing outside so cannot comment on the showground exhibition. It was an 'ok' show but not one of Cosfords best I'm afraid. Pat Suisse were very good and polished as always, Reds i thought were pretty good too. Loved the ...

Re: Cosford Arrivals 2023
Lynx is here, just requested start for a display That's good think most things now where they need to be for show sounds like no last minute additions unless flying into slot Don't think there's anymore flying display additions but they've been teasing a surprise addition which people have been spe...

Re: Cosford Arrivals 2023
No idea I'm afraid, I'm just tracking them whilst at work. Spitfire G-PRXI is currently over Cannock Chase and Rich Goodwins G-JPIT was in the vicinity of Cosford a few minutes ago too. Looks like the Typhoon is waiting to form up with the photo-ship now. ADS-B it definitely looks like a display ro...

Re: Cosford Airshow 2023 (discuss everything)
Bah, my flight doesn't get into Birmingham until after 2pm. Wouldn't make it down in time. You are seriously flying to go to Cosford? Wow- But it begs the question why? I'd suggest there are lots of shows if you want to go to the expense of flying that would probably work out cheaper and orders of ...

Re: Cosford Airshow 2023 (discuss everything)
Mass exit at 4pm lol. Never understood the post-red arrows mass exit. If I was Cosford I'd stick them last on the display list so you don't have people causing carnage trying to get out in their cars with over an hour still left of the display. So many interesting displays don't get seen as half of...

Re: Cosford Airshow 2023 (discuss everything)
Mmmm think some of you chaps are letting them off the hook somewhat!? 1 x reheat solo aerobatic display - no F16s, F18s, Rafale, JAS39, etc; says it all sadly. I guess they apply to the international air forces and then those air forces allocate items at shows. I may be wrong on that but I don’t kn...

Re: Cosford Airshow 2023 (discuss everything)
Things don't change. A random post from 2009 " I just hope the committee realise that the show needs to progress and make some changes this time round. How about some more helos in static (especially from Shawbury!), how about positioning their unique static aircraft a little more carefully an...

Re: Cosford Airshow 2023 (discuss everything)
There was a hover. I remember because my eardrums were nearly blown out by it lolFlare Path wrote: ↑Mon 05 Jun 2023, 1:24 pmAre people forgetting how tame it was last time and there was no hover? I'm still not convinced it's cleared to hover at Cosford - would be delighted to be proven wrong, however. We shall see - nice addition.
