Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread

Personally I thought it was the worst parking of aircraft in the loop I can recall this year, with the Harriers Phantom and Fitter all too head on to the barrier. They need a small angle and it also makes them more friendly to the light at the start and end of the day, we are trying to watch the fl...

Re: RIAT 2023 Discuss everything thread

Conflicting info, and the usual “I reckon” so I shouldn’t like to say. Saw a Greek C-130H leaving Aviano today on ADSB, but whether the Phantom was fixed, and indeed if it just went back home or is making arrangements to be on the way, I don’t know. Putting 2+2 together and getting 4.3, it looks li...

Yeah, Greek pilot told us second phantom has cancelled. It was also the one with most of the tat in the luggage pods, so they only have two patches for sale (presumably made by runway25, as they were in their rent today)

At least as recently as 2021, yes.

First time at Duxford for an airshow (other than Daks over Duxford), and what a breeze to get in - none of the melee like Cosford/RIAT etc.

Sally-B to open flying display, according to announcer

Edit - A400M Flypast will be before the flying display begins
