Lovely images and video. I saw this aircraft at Wangaratta prior to its departure but sadly it didn’t fly that weekend. Thanks for sharing.

You achieved your goal, Shaun. Some excellent images, particularly those taken with trees in the BG. Outstanding panning with low SS and quite large effective focal length. Nice work.

Re: Thunder over Michigan - unbelievable

If you can shoe-horn 20 people into a Mini, then it's worth the entry price. Like you, I'll be solo, so too much to pay for a half-day airshow. I do know that most of the photo pit tickets for this year have been sold and that last year's show was well-attended. FYI, this year's line-up is excellent...

Antique Aeroplane Ass'n of Australia (AAAA) Annual Fly-in, 2022.

After missing a couple of years due to Covid restrictions, the AAAA's fly-in returned this year and was held at a new location. Wangaratta aerodrome, in NE Victoria, was the new venue and it was a vast improvement over the previous one. This year's event celebrated the 70th anniversary of the C180 a...

Re: North Weald Diary 2022

The P-51 images look fine to me, although I have never seen the subject 'in the flesh'. You have processed them well and should continue to capture RAW files and process them in the same manner. The only thing that I can recommend is a wee bit more contrast.

Re: A few holiday pics from the Caribbean and Florida

OK, thanks for the explanation. If you pushed up the exposure when you were processing them, it would also contribute to some of the visible noise. Download a trial version (31 days) of DxO PureRAW and see how that reduces the noise in your images. I downloaded a copy and and found that it was an ex...

A great range of airlines that you've captured. Those locations are one place that I'd love to visit. Thanks for sharing.

There appears to be a lot of noise in these images. I am surprised because your camera and the ISO used should not result in so much noise.

Re: Colour correction

I have opened both images in PS CS6 and also in PhotoLab 5.2 Elite and I cannot see a visible colour cast on the unprocessed image. Further, I have checked identical parts of each image and the RBG measurements are almost identical. To me (an amateur) this implies that the colour of each location is...

Sad news but inevitable because they're a little like I am - well past their best. We were fortunate here in Australia because, for a short time during the '80s, we had a privately-owned example doing the airshow circuit.

Thanks for sharing your excellent video.

A nice selection of images from a beautiful part of the world. I feel a little old because I can remember seeing the Alia retro livery at Athens airport in the early ‘80s. 😉
