Re: RIAT 2019

I did P&V East on the Wednesday but want to have the "full experience". So, do you know where the reduced tickets are being advertised? As far as I'm aware, the £5 discount offer is only being made by email, to those who bought Friday tickets for this year; hence you won't see it adve...

Re: RIAT 2019

Having spent £190 this year on 2x Friday tickets plus rear of the Viewing Village Grandstand plus credit card rip off tax...and then didn't attend...I'd like to see if I can reduce my spend for next yea...

One Friday tickets plus back row of Grandstand!!..available

My partner is ill so we won't be able to make it to the show on Friday.
I have two adult entry tickets plus 2 seats in the Viewing Village Grandstand at the very back (row Q.) A great spot!
Is anyone interested in making me a sensible offer.
Thanks.
EDIT: one sold so just one remaining.

Re: Flying Legends 2019

I’ve been visiting airshows for almost 50 years but for some reason I’ve never been to a show at Duxford before yesterday (Saturday). FWIW here are a few of my personal observations. I had intended to arrive early at 8am but, thanks to my alarm clock, it was 0930 when I arrived having travelled up f...

Re: RIAT Arrivals... LIVE! 2018

Another vote of thanks to Tommy and the others who have contributed today. I'll be there tomorrow (first time at P&V) and wondered if it's best to get there 8 am or even earlier?
Hope that's not like asking how long is a piece of string.

Re: RIAT 2017 (Discussion & Participation Thread)

No, you guys have it all wrong, the USA forces are the best of the best, nobody better, I heard this from the commentary yesterday, it must be true Yes the commentrary was a "little" bit over the top, to put it mildly. It did seem as if she were reading from a script as used for a local S...

Re: RIAT 2017 (Discussion & Participation Thread)

FGR2 wrote "feel for those today who haven't seen what they were expecting, however it is the nature of the "advance ticket only" beast though, which doesn't seem to work so well for airshows " On the contrary I think it DOES work well for airshows. Not for the punters but for th...

Re: RIAT 2017 (Discussion & Participation Thread)

Went yesterday (Friday) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Got there just before 9am and hardly any queuing of traffic until the last 5 minutes into the car park after coming off the M4 at Swindon. No queues at all to get in and the Grandstand was about 25% full and the seats on the grass almost empty. It m...
