Hi,
Just stumbled upon the new EU drone laws for 2020.
I was wondering if anyone knew any more details such as cost of registration for a drone under 250grams with a camera? Also, if you register it in England, would it be OK to use it all over the EU?
Thanks,
James

I meant what spot at RAF Lakenheath, since it is unusual (Or at least I haven't seen many) to get a shot like in the first image

RIAT 2018 - Totterdown
Just a couple from a great weekend for now, leaving early tomorrow for Canada for the summer, so this is all I've had time to sort through so far. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1761/42761071334_e2edb7bbc9_h.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1764/28591009037_4c2dd7b26b_h.jpg

Re: Wide angle lens suggestions
Thanks for all the replies. Been looking through online reviews and found two lenses that seem interesting. Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM FLD and Sigma F2.8-4 Contemporary DC Macro OS HSM 17-70mm anyone had any experience with either of these lenses? From how I interpret DXO mark graphs, they see...

Re: Wide angle lens suggestions
Thanks for all the suggestions so far. Maybe I should clarify, when I said 'wide angle', i didn't mean anything really wide angle, I meant something wide enough for cities or statics at airshows or for the paddock at motor racing events. Hence why I was thinking something that starts at around the 2...

Wide angle lens suggestions
I'm currently in the market for a new Wide angle lens for my Canon 80D. At the moment I am trying to choose between the Canon 24-105mm version 1, the Sigma 24-105mm and the Canon 24-70mm f4. I have a tight budget, so will most likely have to buy second hand. What are anyone's thoughts on the lenses ...

Sorry, should have said. They were taken at Niagara falls or in the area near Kitchener (a city about an hour away from Toronto).
Thanks for the comments

Re: September Air Show 2017
Haven't been to a Duxford show inside for many years now. Just wondering where is the best place to stand now with the new flightline? I'm mainly after topsides of the aircraft and landing/ take off shots if possible. Also what time do the car parks/ gates actually open? Want to be one of the first ...

The lancaster landed at Coningsby at around 5pm. So I'm guessing it would still be there.

Re: Shutterplane's Friday at RIAT
Looking much better, just bump up the contrast and the clarity a bit (maybe even the vibrance slider to bring out the burners some more), it still seems a little flat to me, like its missing something eye catching.

Re: Shutterplane's Friday at RIAT
How come its suddenly got a big spot on the fin? If it was a Mirage or Rafale it might be worth it, for an unmarked RAF heap, nah. Chris, your edit was terrible by the way, don't take it personally though. I worked from the original RAW file which had dust spots, which I couldn't be bothered to rem...

Here is my attempt at editing what I believe to be that shot (idk what ones Shutterplane sent me, but if its not the same shot, its at least in the same sequence) https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4310/35881880560_d8761ef600_h.jpg I like that. For me the image looks a little 'flat', it definitely needs some more contrast and the highlights to be pushed down a little more

Its a good job the B-1 series was (comparatively) under funded and they never made it to an 'R' derivitive!
Rone?
Stick the R on the end of bone, and I think you will find the answer

I suppose it depends on what you or I have been looking at before, as to me it doesn't appear too bright. What do you measure it by? Push down the exposure and highlights a bit more. Increase the clarity and contrast a bit, and it should be fine.
Still a bit bright as it is
