Re: proof that elephants are more intelligent than ivory collectors

TBF it's not really evolution just a side effect of bastards illegally killing elephants for their tusks,

as there are no tuskless males eventually there will be no elephants if the trend continues

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Do you find 911 COVID deaths in 7 days acceptable? The UK gov't does. In their book It's the price to pay for keeping the economy running and people off furlough / kids at school. And most haven't been vaccinated so the UK gov't doesn't care either. Until they fill our hospitals. I feel another avo...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

No idea if it's England only or not, Doctor came round to give the wife her flu jab, I got mine at the same time and told we have to wait for NHS to contact us for the booster jab. I've also had the Pneumonia jab as well. I'm confused now; I thought pneumonia was a secondary infection caused by bac...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

The UK may have reported 20% of all new cases yesterday (and 45 deaths which we know is not accurate) but compare with Russia 34,000 cases 998 deaths Italy 1600 cases 44 deaths The UK Gov't mantra is that vaccinations are mitigating the spread. It's all our fault anyway they didn't say "go to pubs /...

I found the LF test very unpleasant and was not sure if I'd obtained enough sample. Does the control line only show up if the sample has collected sufficient sample? Dublin is the same as Gatwick used to be; non Schengen also with CTA (only available from the Channel Islands AFAIK) too, different prices / availability for EU / non EU. PPS. Duty Free !! :) yes there was a small notice in Corfu "duty free" saying UK could bring back 4 litres per pax. We stuck to the usual 1. I don't think there's any price difference between duty paid / duty free in EU airports because there are no customs for Schengen although that could be polic...

we could have done self test PCR tests for £45 compared to £55 for a drive through test at Gatwick (actually Copthorne it's an off site airport parking place) but it would have meant driving down to Brighton to drop the samples off which is a lot further* than driving to Copthorne * :face_with_raise...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Flu is of course not a coronavirus and I've no idea how more or less likely it is to mutate than Covid-19 I think mutations of Covid are what the vaccinated world are watching for especially in the UK, and their susceptibility to the current vaccines. Then they may follow suit and let the virus perm...

If the leaks are to be believed the travel changes are going to hit the unvaccinated hard, requiring home quarantine from all outside CTA destinations. Add this to possible vaccine passports for events and even work and it's looking very Nanny state.
