Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
Well that would be the accounts filed with companies house, that are available to everyone to view. The other ones are the Charity commission ones that are missing from when the Charity was still trading.

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
When I read the accounts I thought things didn't add up, I've seen various bits posted around, it seems there's a divide again, with Dave Woods claiming, once again, that wr963 is his, yet the Shackleton aviation group claim it's theirs, just like last time, now, I wonder who really does own it? And...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
m There are accounts missing for active periods, which is when I donated! Just because the charity now sits dormant doesn't mean the outstanding periods go unaccounted for, a charity collected money, and hasn't produced accounts for money collected/spent, we as donators at least deserve that! You di...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
So to clear a few things up, I don't have an axe to grind, I am simply annoyed by the fact a project which seemed so promising cannot even open for paying visitors when it says on their website, I've been countless times but to no avail, I've donated in the past, but where's the money gone? There ar...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
Well I don't think they are in for following rules and protocols, they appear a law onto themselves. It seems they are good at talking the waffle, but that's it. Why no accounts again? People, including myself have donated money, but have no proof of where it's gone, which legally they are entitled ...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
I heard today that the Shackleton Aviation Group haven't filed their accounts with companies house, just like the missing accounts for the Charity Commision! A familiar pattern is emerging here!

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
I popped by yesterday to the RAF100 event, a very good do and the food was delicious. Your website had it down as a workday, but there was nobody there, a guy had travelled a long way for a prearranged tour of the Nimrod, but they weren't there either! Is there any up to date news? Things seem rathe...

Re: APRES
I see she has now reappeared, but strange, but technology does hiccup from time to time admittedly. I'm pretty new to Facebook (in my advancing years in remotest Scotland, slightly detached from modern life). It seems they want to be a charity to fund charities, I'm non to sure on the legality of th...

APRES
I have been following the APRES page on Facebook for a while, it seems somewhat confrontational, particularly from an admin Caz McCall, who seems to be the leader of the organization/charity in application. Tonight I see she has vanished, no longer an admin, and dissapeared off Facebook. There was a...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
Marka1967, I do understand that the team have families etc, however, the project was always well updated on here and elsewhere, for many years. It seems to me that it's now gone by the wayside, with the winding down of operations at Coventry Airport, and the apparent ongoing Charities Commission inv...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
Over 3 months has passed and no news, I have looked on the Facebook pages now and they are disappointingly showing a lack of posts. I had high hopes for this project, it seems to be slipping away now, there used to be regular updates, now it seems things only happen when someone pushes a question. I...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
Thanks for the reply, and thanks for clearing a few things up, I don't do facebook, hence me using this forum as a point of reference. I did send an email too but it hasn't been answered. Anyway, thank's again for the update, Hopefully I will get to see her up close, as opposed to over the fence, an...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
Well, no reply on here or to my messages? We popped by today, but nobody there, very nice lunch in the Diner though, so not entirely wasted. Just what exactly has happened here? I was chatting to a couple of guys outside the Diner who said WR963 is charity property and should be handed back and oper...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
Is there any news? I heard some report of an engine run but only 2 engines due to lack of fuel. I'm planning a trip down to Warwick in the next month or so, so I'm hoping to drop by, any news on her taxying yet, be nice to have a ride in her! Richw82 I have messaged you but don't seem to have had a ...

He said it says on your Facebook page you are open every Saturday 10-4, hence us just dropping by. Congratulations on your big day, I do hope it was the happiest day of your life! (Albeit one of the most expensive!), I await you getting WR963 taxying, there's a few of us wanting a ride! The chap at ...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
As I was in the area visiting friends on Saturday, we popped down to see WR963, as a friend had said on your Facebook page you were open, to find no one there! Rather dissapointing really, particularly as I live on the isle of Skye and this was a rare visit to the area! Anyway, we went onwards to Ha...

Rich, Thankyou for that rather in depth update, you have certainly been busy, lets hope this year proves to be more fruitful once she's running again! I'll keep an eye on here, if you could keep us updated with progress, that would be great, I do enjoy reading the updates. Are you onsite most weeken...

Re: Shackleton WR963 - [Official Topic]
Is there any up to date news regarding this project? I have tried to contact the chairman by email to book a taxy run but to no avail, just wondering what's happening? I am heading down to see some friends in the Midlands soon and would love to see her.

Ok that's great, I'll see if I can pull a plan together to get down, it's a bit snowy up here on Skye at the moment, can't get out even in land rover, so that needs to change!

Re: Coventry Shackleton/Nimrod
Ok, much appreciated, I'm not on Facebook, only got going on here not long ago! I might just go to the February one, I need a definite that's all as its a long 500 miles in my old defender, so I'll be looking to spend a couple of nights in the area. Unless I can get my friend to contact the owner to...

Coventry Shackleton/Nimrod
Just a question really, I'm sure I've seen on here somewhere about a taxy run in this month of WR963, which I was hoping to make the 500 mile journey to attend, but I can't seem to find it! I've asked on the official thread but no answer. A friend today also informed me of a cancellation of the Nimr...

I can't seem to find it but I'm sure we had some talk of a taxy run? Is this still happening? I'm sure I read there was one, and expressed my interest, but I may be going mad! Can anyone enlighten me?

Re: Just Jane news
It does seem it won't be long until we have 2 flying Lancasters of our own in the UK! I've followed LAHC for a long time in their quest to fly Just Jane and I can honestly say I've never seen such a well thought out and logical approach to the project. Good luck guys, you are nearly there!
