Re: Presidential Election 2020

As I’ve said often - America very much a third world country. Yet again we disagree. Would you be so bold if you were talking face to face with one of the many Americans based in the UK? Yes Great, I'd love to be there. Can I suggest if RIAT is on there'll be a great opportunity. Perhaps you could ...

We’re absolutely screwed.
Looking to history, Spanish Flu only came to an end when people became immune or permanently passed on. We have better technology now but the same principal applies.

Re: RIAT 2021 Participation and Discussion Thread

Yeovilton just announced cancellation, I fear RIAT won't be too far behind. That's significant. Yeovilton was on 10 July, less than a week before RIAT. I agree, i think its arguably the most significant indication we have had so far in regard the summer season Yes, a similar style of event. With mi...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

10 years ago the human race would have been in real, and possibly, terminal trouble as the vaccine development would simply have been impossible. 100 years ago (give or take), we were at war and had no time nor resources to even work out how the Spanish Flu spread, let alone stop it. 1,000 years ag...

I see Ryanair got pulled up for their “Vaccines are coming.....book your holiday.....so you can Jab and Go” commercial. At the time at best I thought it was moronic, if not a bit insensitive. It’s good to see they have been taken to task on this one. You have to wonder who signed off this nonsense ...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

The care home situation has been one of the chief disasters of this crisis and should not be forgotten. Nor should the 100,000 dead. A colossal failure of policy, and no matter how well the vaccine rollout goes, it’s a resignable offence. Or should be. What was the policy decision that you refer to...

If it does transpire that it is not very effective in that group (especially when they’re only receiving the initial dose) then we’re in for a disastrous summer and my older family members will have been given false hope that they’re protected. How long, say, will the “United States” go before all the states decide to go their own way.
About 3 years? Biden has already made every US citizen poorer and he's only a few days into the job. How much more before they think they're better off going it alone?

Unfortunately no tips for Huntindon but Edwards is only 2 weeks later. On the Friday it's the 75th anniversary of breaking the sound barrier (at Edwards) so there's a good chance of some juicy attendance and who knows, a rare airshow sonic boom? I'll be there.
