Re: The UKAR politics thread

Well done Boris on a stonking trade deal with Canada that will no doubt help us recover from Covid.. .....even if it is exactly what we had before they have got to the point where something staying the same is seen as a win now and should be celebrated. i remember when it would be sunlit uplands an...

depends if you class him as a "household". i'd consider him a key worker in the same way a virgin technician or gas man is, so as long as you are 2m away, or better off in another room then his presence should not fall foul of regulations If everyone adheres to the 2m rule that poor virgin technici...

We all know that Doctors, Lawyers etc are 'not supposed to' discuss confidential matters with their partners. Yes, it might be difficult to go home harbouring some dark secrets, but that comes with the job. I just used that as an example - could you imagine that PMBJ sits over the dinner table disc...

Re: Presidential Election 2020

It's actually worse when you consider 9million more people voted for him this year than in 2016. What was their motivation to get out and vote this time? Either they thought he's actually done a good job and they want some more or they are really opposed to Joe Biden and the democrats. It will be in...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Every day over 5000 Covid deaths occur around the world. How many deaths are you willing to tolerate while you wait for long-term safety data, in order to overcome your fear of the vaccine? As bad as that figure is that shouldn't be the driver in this. Because of the enormity of the situation and t...

I'll take that bet Iain.

I think he's finished politically.

Don't forget if he did want to run again he would have to go through the whole Republican nomination shenanigans and I don't think they would buy it a second time around

If anything jeopardises the US military presence in this country, it's our current Prime Minister, his government and Brexit, not Joe Biden. Just to illustrate this point, pencil neck geek John Redwood has written a letter to President Elect Biden "warning" him over Brexit.  :l...

Trump shot himself in the foot with regard to postal votes by questioning their legitimacy months ago, ergo the majority of his supporters chose not to vote by post and went to the polling booth instead.

Re: Presidential Election 2020

Expect Georgia to come first. about 50k postal votes still to count. Trump ahead by about 23k and dropping.

Penn still has about 10% of votes to be counted which is around 600k votes, Biden approx 165k behind so yes, very much up for grabs
