Nobody buying the explanation regarding using WT327's cockpit vs WK163's?
Is WT327 close to airworthy as she is? I guess I'm asking; is 'combining' the two the most likely way of getting a Canberra airworthy?

In terms of types there are a few you'd think would be easy enough to get. Many sadly impossible. Particularly hard task to get an F-32.

The police use it so you'd imagine they would keep the airfield operational for them surely?

Very sad indeed. I was hoping there might have been a 'pleasure' flight or two. However covid would have likely put pay to that anyway.

Re: Sunday 2 August – Drive-in Airshow (At the Movies)
Great to hear that it's another sell out. If this 2nd show is anything like the 1st then a great time will be had by all. It's really brilliant to see Shuttleworth being such trailblazers and leading the way in restarting airshows. Clearly some of the early pioneering spirit so beautifully preserved...

Managed to make it down for the 2nd run today. Cloud didn't allow for a full display but didn't matter, fantastic to see them.

Do you know what the purpose of the visits are? It appeared to immediately taxi back to the end of the runway and take off. Long way to come to spend 6 minutes on the ground.

Re: Bruntingthorpe Closure?
Based on statements that have emerged over the past couple of days, the TBAG group is moving to Kemble, David Walton is trying to put up buildings to house aircraft next to the 'Q' shed, just outside of the airfield (he owns the Comet, Nimrod and Victor) and the VC10s have been asked to leave by Oc...
