Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread

Hi can anyone help please. I would like to take my disabled brother to RIAT next year, he can walk a 20 -30 yards but will need his buggy to get around on. I see the disabled enclosure is in the Blue area but it says the Blue car park is not suitable for the disabled. Can anyone tell me where the d...

That's a fabulous set Steve, if I had to pick a favourite, it would be number 3, but they all brighten up a dull, grey day.

Re: canon EF Lens repair

Thanks, Stagger2 and Thoughtful_Flyer for your replies, it’s unfortunate that we live in a throw away society and because of that we are reaping the benefits in terms of cost, Environmental impact etc. If there’s one thing that I’ve learned in my life is that we as humans keep on re-inventing the wh...

canon EF Lens repair

Hi all, I have a canon EF 24-70 mm AF IS lens which has an auto focus issue, although I have been using it on MF for some time, though I tried it earlier today and it appeared to be working, though I couldn’t be certain, so it may be an intermittent issue. Following a stroke, I have difficulty now w...

Re: Interesting Internet

Yes, good news, but what are they going to do when the RAF are playing with their lightnings? Fly kites off the decks of two empty carriers? that will frighten the life out of China and Russia, never mind an increasingly right leaning Argentina rebuilding their Air Force, intent of flexing their mus...

I agree with Alpha Delta, its a great set and its number 5 for me too but I also like 20. For me I would be content to put up with the long queues just to see 'Fifi'

great set Wisnia and I love the processing too. personally I'm a fan of tight crops, if used sparingly, it's still an impressive set,as a matter of interest what software have you used for processing?

it does take some practice to get used to it but once you have used BBF for any action including airshows you will end up asking yourself why you've not done this before. I use it exclusively now.

if you are the only person that you want to impress with your photos the I think you already have the answer. the only people that I like to have in my aircraft photos are re-enactors or crew members. I tend to wait until late in the day to take photos of static aircraft that's not only to avoid peo...

The photographer still retains the ...

I have a feeling that this signals the decline of the big public airshows. I think the UK is likely to follow this format with fewer and fewer big shows.
