Re: FRIAT 2024

1. IMHO not really just you are nearer the take off point for many aircraft on the left as you look at it from the runway hence photographers prefer it 2. Not in my experience - just generally people prefer a higher perspective 3. Not in my experience - I would have had half a seat if I had sat at m...

Re: Soft images Canon EOS60D

I would agree with George - simply looks oof - the autofocus was not spot on this time - nothing unusual for fast moving objects! Be happy with the next frame that was right on the spot.

I’m travelling by car from Birmingham I know the gates open at 08:00. What time would be best for me to leave Birmingham so I don’t hit too much traffic?

Item are taken at a desk, labeled and put in containers which are locked in the evening. Make sure you check the time they close so you can get your stuff out before the showground closes.

Numan was great when I saw him a few years ago. It is alway good when something way exceeds your expectations. Unfortunately my latest, Pendragon, fell victim to the promoter going bankrupt two day before.

Are there any regulations that would prevent a Predator or indeed a Global Hawk in the flying display at RIAT?

Love to see the B52 flying even if it is 'just' a flypast. As for circling 'for about three hours' - just maybe it was on a training exercise - one way of getting around US aircraft not attending airshows unless they are involved in an operational task... and does a B52 it really do much more at a U...

So it maybe when it was previously at the Museum in Pensacola which would tie in with the others although the museum has somewhat been refurbished since these...
