Re: RIAT 2021 Participation and Discussion Thread

now you can chastise and mock my comments as much as you like I don’t see why anyone would, you’re talking some compelling points. It seems to me that insurance is a killer. The Government seems determined not to back some sort of cancellation scheme and events can’t get insurance in the event that...

Quite a powerful message:

i must admit i'm really struggling with this lockdown.
unlike the previous ones where they felt like a means to an end, this one feels like an overflowing bucket of cold sick with no one coming to open to doors

I have tickets for RIAT carried over from 2020 , to be honest at this stage and the way things are panning out , I wouldn't object to my tickets rolling over into 2022 and write off this years show - better safe than sorry. The pandemic situation just cannot be predicted unfortunately that's where ...

This is only provisional/temporary winter livery, most probably full season colors will be different. What's the point then? Surely showing off the team's thinking on aerodynamics isn't tactically sound, or is the shape all smoke and mirrors too? Is the whole thing a pack of lies/misdirection? lies...

a £100+ Covid test (assuming you can get one in most overseas resorts) on return to the UK is the last straw for anyone's overseas plans this year I reckon; next month's easyJet holiday cancelled by them no quibble refunded; still leaves me with 3 flights. Hoping they get cancelled if not will defe...

Quite plausible FGR2. I'll stick my optimistic neck out and say lockdown will continue for another 2 months to keep a lid on current progress. Just before Easter there will be a big announcement about the ending of lockdown. By then, all key groups will have had their first shot and hospitalisation...

I'm currently reading Sasha Swire's book on being an MP's wife and it's clear that the career aspirations of B Johnson have led us to quite a situation. His decision to back Leave was a shock to those who knew him as a Europhile. Williamson is described as "the seven-year old" and the UKAR swear wo...

They are saying Autumn for everyone to be vaccinated now. Given under 50s is the last group, that might be a big hit on RIAT attendees if RIAT insist on a vaccine before entry?
