FIA 2022
So, looks like we are back in business!
18th- 22nd July according to their website.
Any thoughts?
I realise it's a shadow of it's former self, but wouldn't it be nice if there was at least a few decent participants after the 2 year drought we've had!
Any rumours anyone?

Farnborough 2000. I was working there, and live locally, so popped in one morning a few days before the show to collect my security pass. Someone mentioned that the Eurofighter was due in imminently from Germany, so I decided to hang around to wait for it. Suddenly it was visible on the horizon, or ...

Same here, never had myself down as a helicopter fan, but I think I am, I think seeing a Wessex in the air could be a highlight of the year for me, and the Sycamore at Farnborough in 2018 was that years highlight.

As FIA is a major showcase for manufacturers to sell their wares, based on Boeing's poor press at the moment, I would think Boeing would move heaven and earth to get a 777x there.

Remember that it is a trade show (every two years) with some amazing rarely seen in the UK exhibits. Instead of all jumping on the negativity band-wagon, just read last years nonsense. Quite pleased with this, probably one of the highlights of the year for me.

Excellent article, and I hate to be picky, but RIAT was not the final static display for the Sycamore, this is it positioning to land at Farnborough 2018 the following week https://farm1.staticflickr.com/917/43495035811_6f531c4782_h.jpg Bristol Sycamore by Jim Pritchard , on Flickr

Don't know why, but I have a feeling we may see an A10. I think that this is more wishful thinking though, and it's probably popped into my mind because of the visitors at "The Hall" today.

Well, obviously my first thought was to Wonsan - KPAAF MiGs and Sukhois are, of course, about as rare as you can get. But there were over a hundred people there, so I'm far from the only one to get shots - bordering on common as muck. So what could be rarer than the world's most closed-off air forc...
