Parking in Swindon and getting the bus has worked well for the last couple of years, just need to find a way of getting a bus ticket as a FRIAT person.

P&V days I'll drive as usual.

I know, I'm just talking about Sat/Sun. I always drive to P&V.

What is access like by car to blue entry? Hard standing for parking?
And it looks like a bit of a hike to get from bus drop-off to blue entry gate.

Can I use the Swindon Shuttle bus with FRIAT? I've got my place booked in the grandstand, and I know that blue car park is used for FRIAT, but can I get shuttle bus tickets? If so, how?
The last couple of years I've driven to Swindon, parked, then used the shuttle bus.

For those interested, FRIAT tickets are now available online, picked mine up earlier. Also got mine, but it took Wendy a bit of fiddling to complete it. Picked my seat, completed the payment, got an email receipt, but nothing else! Apparently it was 'stuck', but now released and shows in my orders....

My goodness that commentator was annoying for the Spanish team. I liked the enthusiasm, far better than the corporate, fake enthusiasm adopted by the Brits in recent years. I agree - the Italians, the Spanish, the Americans bring a bit of their culture and their pride in their country to the event....

I was in the Viewing Village (garden, not grandstand) on Saturday, commentary was audible, clear and useful.

BUT - Do they REALLY have to mount the speakers on poles at the FRONT???
