Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere, but photos are surfacing of the first look at the new scheme.🙂

It seems like all of the issues from the upgrade have been ironed out now but do we really need all of the 'Smileys & Emotions'? There's 18 that have a heart on them - do we really need them (not to mention about 40 of the others)?
Bring back the old ones I say!
Don’t use them then.

Re: Drive in airshows?

Nice idea but some airshows need the income from traders and it will go back to the argument about non-essential travel. If somebody on the way to the show has an accident which involves the emergency services and one of the attenders has Covid then the whole team (20+) could need to be isolated so...

Re: UKAR Forum upgrade

There’s no UKAR message board link at the top for me on mobile unless I go to landscape mode, which is really annoying. So I either have to turn my phone sideways every time I’ve read the posts in a thread or just keep on going back a page.

Re: Germany buying new Typhoons, Super Hornets and Growlers

Except Germany isn't a nuclear power, I thought it just allowed the US to base nukes there. Why are German aircraft going to carry them? Surely that will never happen? Under NATO’s Nuclear Weapons Sharing program, which I assume you’re referring to with the US nukes, the participating nations would...

Re: Will air shows be cancelled because of coronavirus

The atmosphere when I was out shopping this morning is awful. Apart from certain items being unavailable in all four of my local supermarkets - including the apparently vital hand washes and sanitisers, people were walking around and you could sense the fear of people getting too close to each othe...

Re: RIAT 2020 Wishlist

Argus - a SAAB design isn't it? I think the Swedish AF brought one to RIAT around the turn of the century if memory serves correct. A strange looking contraption on the roof I thought at the time... but then the Wedgetail caught my eye. I think the Greeks brought an Argus over in 2013 too? I rememb...

Re: Your favourite image from 2019

Barely got out at all with the camera this year, and so only have photos from RIAT, Cosford and the Tornado FINale at Coningsby to choose from. Not the best photo to be honest, but it didn't help that out of the few outings I had this year, I didn't shoot in decent weather once. https://live.staticf...
