Re: Possible format for RIAT2021
It seems like processes are being rolled out to open up mass attendance events in Q1 2021 (e.g. covid test wrist bands). Optimism is building for a particular event next July. I just hope air arms commit to and work up the solo's. I guess the worst case is that national display teams will be availa...

Re: Possible format for RIAT2021
I hope they come up with something as I can no imagine myself sitting in a taxi than shuttle bus for over Three hours wearing a mask the full time with my breathing, thats if Fairford was opened back up.

Re: Academy 1/48 Hunter F.6
That's a very tidy and well finished model indeed Derek! Small point though, as I'm a Brawdy veteran with a huge Hunter database... XK149 as you've modelled her would be from the 229 OCU era at Chivenor when she was a straight F6 with no modified tail brake chute etc. Once she arrived at Brawdy, co...

Re: None Aircraft - My other builds.
Great to see, those ships are really well done and nicely mounted too. The finish on the Black Pearl is ace, did you use a wash of some kind? Used to enjoy the old Airfix 1/600 kits but haven't done one for ages, I should give it another go. Thank you kindly, The Pearl was painted with a few layers...

None Aircraft - My other builds.
As I mentioned - here are a few of my other model builds, hope they are of interest The Black Pearl is finished so is the "Grand Old Lady" HMS Warspite, but the Waterloo 28mm figures are an on going project as I plan to build a Dio of the attack on La Haye Sainte. https://i.postimg.cc/cJj0...

Re: My stuff
Thanks for the info, I wondered if that was the Revell Mosquito but then thought "Can't be, it's too good". :D Well done mate. That Spit is very convincing, never built that kit but looks like I'll have to buy one... Yes please to your other stuff, I'm pretty sure most of us "dabble&...

Re: My stuff
Brilliant, love the individual builds and the diorama. Could you give some details of what kits and materials you've used? The diorama is made up of 1/48 Revell Mosquito B.IV, 1/48 Eduard IX, 1/48 Frog Willys Jeep and trailor, 1/48 ICM RAF Ground equipment and personnel, The base is from Coastal Ki...

Re: Possible format for RIAT2021
Thank you for all the replies, It is a situation where it does seem unlikley for RIAT 21 to happen, this virus has caused almost the Perfect Storm - its the perfect way to affect so many people and destroy just about evey normal thing we take for granted. I can not remember anything from my past hav...

Re: Possible format for RIAT2021
Its a very difficult subject to have a discussion about - because I think the event either happens in its current format, or doesn't at all. Its been made pretty clear that without the corporate income there'd be no show, and that security demand that each visitor enters the show ground on foot. Ho...
