I don't know never being on that website, I had a go quite a few times on the Victor K2 sim at Marham, which was very enjoyable doing an ILS approach etc.

Re: Half Term Madness!!

Amp This is an Off Topic discussion site, not aviation, wear members should be allowed to discuss things they want to whether good or bad. I post things as I see, the NHS thread was about what I and many people had seen for themselves and even on local news. We can't always post things which are ide...

Half Term Madness!!

Good Morning!! Another positive thread! Why now when school half term appears does everyone & everything shut down for school holidays. This is truly a snowflake society, back in the 70's & 80's most people carried on working, and only taking time off for the summer holidays. ( Oh might get ...

NHS Myriads!!

With visiting my local hospital lately I'm surprized to see myriads of people gathered outside the main entrance of the hospital, smoking in all weathers in dressing gowns. This to me is an utter disgrace and these patients don't deserve hospital treatment. The sort you see in dressing gowns in supe...

Re: What are UKARians watching on TV?

I don't watch much tv now due to the utter squit on all channels, gone are the days of The Two Ronnnies, It Ain't Half Hot Mum, in which the beeb now are scared to death of repeating. The 70's & 80's were the best time for me. As for todays comedians they haven't got a clue. As for Netflix that...

Well this thread has had a good response, the most I have seen in a while. Maybe some should respond a bit more to other threads like Richard Cooke RIP one of the best aviation photographers over the years. As this is an aviation website. :wall:

Re: IMPORTANT - Future of UKAR

If UKAR is anything like most forums, at least 95% of people registered have not made even a single post on here. This is very true. Would it be a good idea to delete any accounts with less than 10 posts that have been registered for 2+ years? This was my point earlier on, yes some of the posts are...

Yes well done, but not exactly solo as was advertised from the start, as she had help from a second pilot. Maybe that should have being stated in the first place!

Why the need now for most people to have a 4x4, taking up car parking spaces etc. If they can afford a 4x4 then they should pay more tax!!

Re: What's The Point Of A Forum?

Two other reasons in addition: UKAR is open to the public and the view count includes those who are viewing without being logged in, or those who are viewing but don't have an account. 400 views doesn't necessarily translate into 400 possible comments. Secondly, you don't really post with anything ...

The T2 would be a good replacement, but like everything else it would cost to much money, maybe the alpha jet or some other second hand jet.

Re: RAFAT: In decline?

Would say the pool of pilots today are much thinner to pick from for the reds. We really only have a small wing of typhoon fast jet pilots to pick from today. Years ago you had many more, harrier, jaguar tornado f3 or gr1, just one of those types would have been a larger number then what we have fr...
