Re: Are you ready for the Highway Code 2022?

Just checking, is it the 1st April... A new hierarchy of road users with pedestrians at the top down to HGV's at the bottom... with Horses and Cyclists above Cars. Under the new heirarchy if you havean incident with a higher level user (eg car on bike or bike on pedestrian) - you are automatically a...

Thanks Rich, having told SWTSSBO I wasn't senile just yet, maybe she'll believe me, when I show her this post :grinning:

As for the fuel comsumption, it seems that '963 is more economical that my car :grinning:

Re: A-W Meteor NF.14 WS788 Restoration Project

A change is always good as rest and it's always good to read news regarding '963, particularly to see her running but as usual, I do have a couple of questions. It could be old age and my memory playing tricks but didn't she taxi around the airfield, under her own power, a few years ago and if so, i...

There certainly is something different to your photographs, which I like, but can anyone else hear the Doctor Who theme accompanying the above picture?

Re: A-W Meteor NF.14 WS788 Restoration Project

Just to add my appreciation and thanks for your updates in what has been a taxing year for everyone! It great that your interest and desire for '788 remains undiminished, where maybe, given the events of this year, it would be understandable if this had waned! Therefore. many thanks, more power to y...

Re: 1/72 scale Sea fury, help.

Hi Andy,
If its not too late, I have the remains of a decal sheet from the Trumpeter 1:72 Sea Fury FB.11 kit (01631) which includes black & white stripes for upper/lower wings and the fuselage!

Happy to send them to you, if they will help?

I'd be surprised if the locals will be happy, I seem to remember that they managed to delay the building of the concrete runway for quite a few years and isn't there also a limit, to the number of movements allowed each day/week?

GRO and MAG are leaving Haas after 2020 season. It was easy to deduct, now time for some fresh blood :) Magnussen I thought showed promise early on in his career but hasn't really progressed, not much to say about Grosjean other than I'll be glad to see the back of him. Grosjean has got talent to d...

Re: A-W Meteor NF.14 WS788 Restoration Project

Tony, we are in the business of restoring rather than scrapping aircraft, so of course it's worth it! The rest of the aircraft is in very good order... Hi Graham, As I said, I'm no fettler and do not advocate scrapping anything, just for the sake of it so I appreciate the further explanation. It's ...

Re: A-W Meteor NF.14 WS788 Restoration Project

Another great update but don't spread yourself too thinly matey! TT Sometimes, a change is good and '788 wll benefit, in the long run but I wonder, a lot of that corrision on the JP looks terminal or at the least, very time consuming, is it (I hate to use the phrase) worth it? Of course I'm no fett...

I've never been a huge fan of the Phantom (yes, I know, kill the Heretic ) but this post, along with Blue2's NF.14, is quickly becoming a favourite!

Simple question, will the Jaffa Cakes need to be divided between the two airframes or are your teams taste buds, arranged differently?
