Looks like John Cruickshank, the last surviving WW2 Victoria Cross holder, turns 100 this Wednesday (20th May). He flew in Plane Sailing's Catalina from Leuchers in July 2016, and seemed in good form then. Anyone have any news of him - and should we be marking the significant birthday of this remark...

Lovely sunny day at Dux today but a brisk wind. A few "spam cans" on the move, but also the lovely Zlin Z.126 D-EYGL.

Those images of 'GJG are tremendous! I've heard horror stories of the state she was in on arrival. Thank goodness she made it in one piece! The transformation into what for me is still the finest Rapide around is an epic story of incredible dedication. Looking elsewhere in the photos is fascinating ...
