Is White 100 still flying?

Back in 2019 the Yak 3, 'White 100' was sold from the UK to a new owner in Washington State, USA and re-registered as N102Y. I have an interest as it's former ground crew during its time in the UK and would like to know if it is flying. The US forums I have found seem to be quite old and I can find ...

Re: Duxford Diary 2020

[
Duxfords previous Station Flight Spitfire also a Mk XVI was TE357 which had also succumbed to an accident. The fuselage was noted at the display dumped near the blast pens. Sadly it does not appear to have survived into preservation.

A long time ago the Hannas bought a Corsair into the UK via Felixstowe docks and towed it down the A14 (wings folded!) to Ipswich airport where it was checked over by engineers before Ray Hanna took it aloft for the flight to Duxford. Re: Duxford Diary 2020

Any news on 'Showcase' days? The first 2019 event was modest but the third one was really a good mini airshow. I hope that management feel this is an idea worth pursuing and it does give the resident warbird owners a chance to show off their wonderful machines. Fingers crossed.

Re: Duxford Diary 2019

Regarding MT928/MV154, She's now been issued with British civil reg G-BKMI, whether that's to facilitate test flights following repair or if it's a more permanent move, I don't know. According to my database of Spitfires this a/c previously wore this registration between 1993 and 2007 before going ...

Re: Duxford Diary 2019

For a time there I feared the loss of a Great British (aviation) institution. I have been at DX on some cold and inhospitable days but have often seen a lonely figure with camera and long lens at the fence producing those shots we all enjoy. I even appeared in one once, spanners in hand. Very glad t...
