Re: RAF Museum Hendon, 2018

I love Hendon, I have lost count of how many times I've visited, certainly every birthday through the 70s and 80s and countless times since with my children. I think the last time was just before Covid and the changes were still ongoing so may have to go back soon, is that a real Herc in the backgr...

Its more to record their stories in audio form then I can write them up. Many people, me included, are less unhappy to have a dictaphone sat there rather than a lens pointed at them...
You should be able to get a dictaphone app for you phone, would that work?

Thank you for posting that pic, definitely confirms the hub colour and looks to me as if the interior is definitely black too.

Questions regarding Spencer Flack's Spitfire G-FIRE

Hi All, Bought the Airfix kit of Spencer Flack's Spitfire today and was needing help as looking at some photos online, some of the colours that airfix tell you to paint parts don't match to my eyes. So a couple of questions. 1. What colour were the wheel hubs. The instructions say to paint them whit...

To make matters worse it's been reported that Red Bull want to take legal action against the FIA and Mercedes over the incident and penalty 🙄
Red Bull aren't going to do themselves any favours if that is true.

Mike Patey anybody watch his youtube channel

Does anybody else here follow Mike Patey on youtube. Started following him when he had his PZL-104 Wilga "Draco" and was sad when he ground looped it. But have been following with excitement at his oversized Cub project know as "Scrappy". Believe he also has a couple more PZL-104 Wilga in the hangar...

Re: Who was your 'trigger' for your passion for all things aviation?

Living under the flightpath of RAF Northolt, watching the planes coming in, along with spending many a day while staying with my grandparents at either Lakenheath or Mildenhall definitely sparked it with me.
