Re: A-W Meteor NF.14 WS788 Restoration Project

Was at Tangmere today, where a Meteor was on the back of a low loader. When I asked where it was off to, was told it was going to Elvington. Are you receiving another project to work on?

Re: Interesting Internet

https://twitter.com/rafredarrows/status/1523923303483817984?s=21&t=rk5bmmUkqdXtzo31BUR30w I’ve seen a few comments and murmurings, and a few staffers have picked up on it, but are the Reds only flying eight jets this year? There could, of course, be a jet behind this one, but others have notice...

Wonder if these two will lose their licences like Trevor Jacob. Supposedly in the DM article it says the FAA did not give permission for the stunt. https://www.yahoo.com/news/first-plane-swap-stunt-unsuccessful-032920332.html https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10750039/Mid-air-plane-swap-skydi...

Or perhaps use the East Kirkby Mossie for taxying shots and CGI for the flying sequences?
Watching some videos on Youtube, they were doing an engine change on the Mossie, so not sure how complete it is at the moment.

Actions often speak louder than words!

would have thought this is a non story, as I would have thought they would have been designed and made before the start of the war and is just a coincidence.

Any plans for WR963 to move when coventry gets flattened? Or is a home at the museum likely? :disappointed_relieved:
If you go back a page and read part of post 191, Rich does mention that they are looking at two potential new homes away from Coventry.

Is there still gold painted ones kicking around, from the Olympics? There was (I believe) a gold one in Dunblane (for Andy Murray) & one on Hanover Street, Edinburgh for Sir Chris Hoy. Don't know if they are still gold or if they have been returned to their original colour. Yes they are still a...

Hi JonMan, sorry, made an assumption that as she stood in the election that she was a Labour MP who was voted in by the Labour party to represent Bury South at the 2019 election, but as you say she was/is not an MP.
no worries, we all make mistakes.

Re: The UKAR politics thread

I wonder how the 2019 election second place MP Lucy Burke (Labour) feels now, she was beaten by Wakeford who won in 2019 with only 402 more votes, would this mean that Labour now have two MPs representing them in Bury South. I do not consider it fair that Burke should be ousted as the Labour MP whe...

The 190 is Uber ugly.

I'd be more than happy to lose it from the collection - especially when Cosford has a single seater.
It maybe Uber ugly, but it is the only one in the world.

This constant badgering and pressuring of Michael Masi and the Stewards should not be allowed and could be controlled by the deduction of points against the team (not the driver). Teams should not be allowed to contact either Race Control or the Stewards, unless invited to do so! 100% agree. The lo...
