Re: Shorts Belfast at Cairns - Any News?
I was just wondering if there were any developments regarding the Belfast sitting at Cairns in Australia? Last I heard was a possible engine run being planned / taking place. Rob Read on Facebook recently that it will be getting the chop per the Airports request. Really hope that’s not the case, bu...

So no disrepect, but what was this? £30 for three aircraft???? Gets worse every event! Come on, do we not all pay towards this hobby in some respect? How much does a standard trip to the States cost?? or going down down to CRUZEX or any road trip in the UK or Europe cost? and not for anywhere near ...

Re: Does HHA have an F4?
Interesting thread, i wonder if HHA have the necessary approvals from both BAFA in Germany and DTSA in Washington for the aircraft? I highly doubt that DTSA would approve transfer of the APG-65, ALR-68 and J79 tech data to a UK Private Entity, the provisos on TPT for an item sold, and later upgrade...

It does seem criminal that the E3’s have never had an upgrade program. Surely we could have shared the cost with France when they did theirs.

Re: RAF E-3D ?
It just makes sense to purchase the E-7, it would have parts commonality with the Poseidon, it is regarded as one of the most advanced AEW&C aircraft on the market, and it would be much more affordable than upgrading the aging E-3D fleet. 7 or 8 E-7s would be a nice number, and an extra 3 or 4 ...

I’m guessing a link to the webcam 4K, UHD 3D surround sound video of XH558 taxiing is available online, which of course would help explain the 30k IT bill?!?

The way this will end will be 558 getting scrapped, the nose section getting saved, but the rest will be sold off so the chosen few at VttST get one last payday.

Re: Where has XH558 thread gone?
So it remains a mystery how they burned through 30K in IT costs if that doesn't include Social Media management. 30K isn't far short of the entire turnover for the year for VRT at Southend - even when they had a hangar and managed to do a taxi run (albeit not a public one yet). Or think of it anoth...
