Spitfire VIII MT818/G-AIDN Repaint
Spitfire VIII MT818 Two-seater to gains American markings. https://flyaspitfire.com/2025/02/10/two-seat-spitfire-mt818-to-fly-in-usaaf-colours-for-2025/ It seems to be a bit of a shame, given there's already one American-marked Spitfire in the country and MT818 was already one of the more charismati...

Would a thread dedicated simply to warbirds for sale be useful - each listing not necessarily worthy of its own topic, but easily lost in pages of Interesting Internet ? Spitfire IX PL344/VH-IUK has recently been listed for sale by Platinum Fighters. It has been flying in Australia after a recent re...

The Aces High Dakota N147DC seems to have been hangared at North Weald. N147DC has now been up for sale since at least Nov 2024. Air Britain reported 2-BVSD cancelled 19 Oct 23 to Venezuela. Thankyou - that's a shame to see it going quite so far away after 25 years with one owner on these shores (especially as it's one that's actually in proper markings). Having had a bit more luck trying to dig out old Gurnsey 2-register up...
